The Chaos Communication Congress is the annual congress of the Chaos Computer Club e.V. (CCC). The Congress has established itself as the "European Hacker Conference" bringing in people from all over Europe and even further away.
The congress not only addresses the techno geek but also those who are interested in appliances and aftermathes. A part of the lectures will be held in English, the rest in German.

The conference consist of lectures, discussions and workshops in four tracks. The conference is structured in five main topic categories: Hacking, Science, Community, Society and Culture.

The 24C3s slogan is Volldampf voraus! -- the German equivalent of "full steam ahead" -- a particular request for talks and projects featuring forward looking hands-on topics.

For 27 years, the congress is organized by the community and appreciates all kinds of participation. You are encouraged to contribute by volunteering, setting up and attending hands-on events or presenting your own projects to fellow hackers.
Some basic survival guidelines might come in handy for everything not answered in our 27C3 FAQ. Like last year we search for helpers in our distributed congress program, the Peace Missions. Updated information are covered by the CCC Events Blog or via Twitter (@27C3).
