To help show Americans where the electricity thats powering their lives comes from, we set off on the Americas Power Factuality Tour—a country-wide road trip in search of the people, places and technologies involved in producing cleaner, domestic electricity from coal.
Our most recent stop was to Mattoon, Ill., the proposed site of the FutureGen a commercial-scale coal-based power plant using clean coal technologies.
Folks all over town made sure to let us know why FutureGen is so important to both Mattoon and the entire country. Hear what they have to say on our YouTube.
