What do you get when you put together four of the most exciting and original, emerging Indian artists and two of the very best British music producers? For starters, one unique opportunity to connect, collaborate and create.

Soundpad is an ambitious new project produced by British Council celebrating and exploring the art of studio production in music. After a mammoth short-listing process, four bands - Medusa (Bombay), Swarathma (Bangalore), Advaita and Indigo Children (Delhi) - will collaborate with top UK music producers John Leckie and Dan Austin. The emerging artists will record in a series of special studio sessions in October this year at the prestigious Yash Raj studios in Andheri (West) Mumbai.
