About Me:

Mixing style with substance is a hard job in the new millennium hip-hop world, but DC emcee Bomani Armah has proved time and time again that he can be musically relevant and socially responsible. From his lucid lyrics, colorful music production, and fashion forward look, Bomani is a part of the new wave of hip-hop music that's challenging the status quo. Most known for his underground anthem and music video "Read a Book" which received critical acclaim and backlash after airing on BET, Bomani has been making creative hip-hop music since 2000. Beginning with the hip-hop band Lauda, Bomani has shared the stage and collaborated with DC rising star Raheem Devaughn. He also appeared on the first sincle "Cool Witchu" from Mello-D & the Rados that aired on BET's Rap City and peaked at #3 on national college radio charts. Whether performing a capella, with a DJ, or his six piece funk/go-go band Project Mayhem, Bomani is a must see live!

Quit bashing him for Read a Book. It's supposed to enforce going against the stereotype instead of promoting what Supremacists believe. If that's not looking out for his people I don't know what is.

Yeah, it's a very racially powerful video, but sometimes people just need a good, swift kick in the junk.

Your an inspiration to me.
I may not be African American, but your messages apply to all races.

Genius.

BTW thanks for White Supremacy sites a rap video that they would love. Like I said, people are going to buy shit that makes them happy. If buying land isn't going to make someone happy, then they're not going to do it. They they buy in order to with brownie points with Afro American intellectuals then they are epic tricking. You or myself owe anyone outside of blood family and close friends a damn thing. Black folks have been preaching the shit you rapped about for years, but we still can't be there for one another like other races can be there for one another.

I can't support your hip hop brother, because it seems like you're doing the same thing White racist White men are doing. You're demonizing Black men. If wanted to check out racist shit about Black men, I wouldn't checked out Stormfront site. Nothing personal bro. Certain types of Black men have issues. Some of the things you said i the Read a Book Video was true, but it applies to both Black men and Black women. As for the rims... you, myself or anyone else do not have the right to tell Black folks what they can spend their money on.

Not to say that there is no other intelligent hiphop, but you definitely don't find a lot of it in the mainstream. I love hiphop when it isn't all gangsta this, bitches, hoes and money that. That's all i meant hehe.
