I'm 60 years old, and have trained on and off for a number of years - but never seriously. In March 2008, I took a good look at myself. I was completely out of condition. I had a 39.5 inch waist, was totally unfit, and had no muscle tone - a slob lol !! I decided to change my shape and my lifestyle.

Since then, I have come down to a 32 inch waist. This goes to show that regardless of how old you are you can make a big difference if you are prepared to train and use weights. I have also made sure that I only train for a max of 40 minutes per weights session.

You too can be in the best shape of your life if you are prepared to take the first step.

BleedBlueSwe - thanks so much for the very kind compliment. Remember that to get the perfect workout for you takes time. You have to try different things and when it feels right for you then it is right for you regardless of what others might think. Get all the tips you can and then workout for yourself what feels the best for you. Baz

Oh sorry, I'll message you instead.

sanjaysinha121 - you can but that is some rather big muscles on the same day. I would always do legs on a different day to chest. They are both rather big muscles and take a lot out of you if you train them right. Baz

TheSk8metal - I am really not sure what you are getting at. It might be better to PM me rather than do it on here. Baz

Oh btw, Can you do them while sitting ? When the dumbell is between the legs, and your elbow is laying on the side of the thigh ?
BazBlog (1 week ago)
TheSk8metal - bicep curls works the whole bicep and hammer curls works the top of the forearm. They also say that it helps to widen the bicep by working the outer part of the bicep. Some people might argue with that and say it is not the case. I find they work really well for me. Baz
