The Australian Human Rights Commission invites you to the 2009 Human Rights Medals and Awards, which will be presented at a gala luncheon ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the Sheraton on the Park Hotel in Sydney on Thursday, 10 December from midday to 3pm.

The winners of the Human Rights Medal, Young Peoples Human Rights Medal and Law, Community (Organisation and Individual), Literature (non-fiction), Print Media, Television and Radio award categories will be announced at the ceremony.

The Commissions President will also deliver the annual Human Rights Day Oration.
