I enjoy photography and just bought a cheap (NZ$200) video camera to see what it was capable of...and it's not too bad although you do get what you pay for. In general I think this camera is reasonable quality (for the price). It's an Aiptek AHD Z600 with some resolutions having a form of image stabilisation. The sound does suffer from wind noise as the stereo microphones are in the back of the flip out display although this model does have provision for an external mic.
