The Fate of Bea Ellis

949 views 1 year ago
From JS, another in the explicitly baffling "Just the Job" series in which the great Patrick Allen narrates stuff a formerly unemployed person has done thanks to that yellow booklet. This time, it's spend £5 on a little novelty gramophone thing with a dog and so forth. Okay then. WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING. Oh, well, at least Patrick Allen's there. Robin Carmody will also no doubt be delighted to register Puffin' Billy on the soundtrack. Sodding Puffin' Billy. One the most overused pieces of light music, truly the chintz "Clubbed to Death". Americans will recognise it as the theme to Captain Kangaroo. Everyone else will recognise it as That Sodding Tune.
