Still amazed and pleasantly surprised by how many foreign tourists think NY is already really green, yeah!
Also the building with some carbon monoxide sucking, oxygen emitting property
biggest takeaway was that making NY a Greener Apple needs to be a global effort since more than half, it seemed, of the interviewees were from somewhere other than NY.
To keep the city clean we also need to impress upon the visitors how important it is to respect the environment, "our environment" as well as "theirs" and vice versa. The point is the environment is all of ours and we effect each other globally. It seemed that most of the foreigners thought that NY was cleaner, greener than their own environments. That's a good start.
I like the idea of making the rooftops gardens or farms. Cement rooftops are such a waist of space that's already being taken.
