This is an inspiring and innovative book and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in martial arts and combat sports. Master Gurjot Singh has produced an eloquent treatice where he answers important questions for both traditional martial artists and modern mixed martial arts practitioners and trainers. His merging of Tai Chi Chuan principles and modern mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and boxing is an important enterprise that he carries out in my view successfully, while at the same time continuously stimulating the readers to think outside their usual frames of mind. Apart from answering fundamental questions about how a traditional internal martial art style can be incorporated into the seemingly very different practice of modern western combat sports, Master Singh also offers very important insights into what makes a fighter a fighter.
