@TundraWalk3r and SpeakerFreak95 to be safe, I'd throw a 0.75A Fast acting fuse on the leg of the power line coming from the rectifier, if the electrolytic goes, it should interrupt fast enough to save the rectifier and the output from 120VAC. Cheap insurance!

Try oven cleaner for removing the paint. It's a shame that no-one has any classic department store paging tones for download, they'd sound great on the system. I believe that Bogen used to manufacture the system.

Those radios are all "happy", nothing beats the sound of a freshly capped tube type radio. Your collection demonstrates many hours of effort in bringing them back to life.

Today's radios will never become collectible, they have no charm....

The echo in "Come Together" sounded awesome. Try requesting "Sky High" by Jigsaw (1975), a song which has awesome echos, and is great for testing frequency response.

I picked up a non-functional, but intact Regency TR-4 at the "Lancaster Mud Sale" . I'd love to see this in action evaluating the PNP Germanium's, which I fear are no longer functional, and oh-so hard to find. Great video!
