About Me:
I am not a professional drummer, I just love playing drums as a hobby.
My goal in almost all my drumcovers is to play the drums exactly the same as the original drumming track I'm playing to. That doesnt really leave much room for improvising in my case. I also like to play alot of different genres, so there might be something in here for everyone to listen to. I also only play to songs that I like. It can be a very simple or complicated song, I dont restrict myself music style wise.
Many People ask me how I get to play on socalled "drumless tracks". Honestly, I dont. I mostly play precise enough to overdub the original drumtrack with my own drumming, so thats why you wont hear the original drums.
@@**ABOUT MY DRUMS**@@
The main reason my set is that big with that many cymbals is because I more or less copied the setup from Limp Bizkit's drummer John Otto. I find his drumset one of the most awesome I've ever seen. So I strive to get mine to be a close replica of Johns set, but at the same time it must be ready to play all kinds of other music. All in all, its a modified replica :)
So no, I dont "really" need all those cymbals and could easily play all my songs with half of all the hardware, but because its a replica and In my eyes a piece of art, I dont know why It shouldn't stay the way it is. Furthermore, since I view the drums as a big machine, it is just as important to be good at maintaining it as playing on it. Setting up such a big kit, placing everything at the right angles and tuning it is not done in 5mins!
People ask me how I can afford all this equipment. Well, its simple. I dont drink or smoke, dont have a car (In Switzerland we have an excellent public transport) and dont waste my money on fashion. It adds up pretty well and because of that I am able to buy so much stuff for my drums. And since it is one of the only things that really fulfill me, I am not "missing out" (drinking and smoking are things that are quite bad for drummers that want to be in good condition).
I record my drums with a studio recording device from Yahama. The video clip is recorded with my JVC Everio G Camera. After Editing the sound material with Cubase for optimum sound quality, It gets sync'd with the video signal, converted into .avi, receives titles with Windows Movie Maker and then I upload it here on Youtube.
Please note that I DONT TAKE any REQUESTS for covers or for collaborations. I only have enough time to do my own projects.

Sounds good. I think you might have the mic too powerful on your toms. Snare and kick drum are a little too low in comparison. Well done though. Tremendous talent!
