My son Vaughan has begun creating videos of his own, of a different type. You can see his videos at http://www.youtube.com/vaug... - he's an awesome kid and pretty silly!
We are having a great time recording these videos. Thank you all for watching them and for your comments. We read them ALL and really enjoy hearing your feedback. I would love to be able to respond to all your comments and inquiries, but it simply is not possible. If you send a personal message I will try to send a reply, but I make no promises.
Perhaps it would help to give you some background here:
Rachel is a 17 year old high school student. She has played the piano since she was 2 years old, and has studied music since she was 4. She is musically literate, which is to say that she does read braille music (yes, she is totally blind - forgot to mention that). All of the classical flute pieces she plays were learned by reading the music. On the other hand, all of the keyboard pieces posted here are played by ear - Rachel has perfect pitch.
We have received a number of requests for transcripts of the music, the Keith Emerson pieces in particular. We have no transcripts. We have also received requests for lessons. Rachel does not give lessons. Between school (band, English, Home Ec., History, Biology - just like any other 17 year old), flute lessons, flute choir rehearsals, piano lessons, and now rehearsals (they used to be jams - now they are rehearsals) with her jazz trio, I can't even imagine when she would give lessons!

Channel Comments
It seems like the other channels in the featured tab shows only when signed into the channel. It is invisable when signed out.
Rachel is the best keyboardist multi-intrumentalist I have ever heard.
I have seen Emerson and Wakeman many times and your daughter can out play them both.
To quote Fats Waller when he came across Art Tatum: "I play piano but God just walked into the room."
Do you know how to get rid of the other channels on the featured page of the new youtube design?
Also I notice your profile picture doesn't display (same problem for me) back in the old design.
Any suggestions would be appreciated especially with the removal of the other channels problem.
