About Me:
 
I was a grad student at Notre Dame. Then I heard Dr. Jeffrey Sachs (author of the book "The End of Poverty") talk about how it's our generation's "homework" to end poverty.

I withdrew from grad school, packed my bags, grabbed my laptop and bought a camcorder and then flew to Bangladesh to see how I could make a difference among some of the world's poorest.

I often refer to myself as being "uncultured". So "uncultured project" is a reference to myself - it is NOT in anyway a reference or comment on the people I am helping.

It really touches and amazes me that 1. You decided that the best thing that you can do is not stay in a classroom and learn about what needs to be done to help, and not do anything about it.
