The UNAMA Multimedia Unit, based in Kabul, is the audiovisual department of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan.
UNAMA TV, which is part of the Strategic Communication and Spokespersons Unit, produces news reports and documentaries, co-produces short films with independent Afghan filmmakers and provides television production capacity building support and initiatives to Afghan producers and television stations.
UNAMA co-produces two shows with the national broadcaster of Afghanistan RTA (Radio Television Afghanistan).
CSA: Crime Scene Afghanistan is an award-nominee crime and investigative television series.
MOC: Mirror of the City is a bi-weekly current affairs show that features segments on different issues such as the environment, rule of law, public health, politicians and more. Mirror of the City has served as Afghan public television's flagship public affairs series.
