They are great and informative and really effective.
I'm in a youth group against drugs myself and we remain one the strongest clubs in our community even as a minority. I'm glad there a organizations like yours to support the cause :D

Why do so many people on here think Truth handles issues other than cigarettes? I think people are getting this campaign mixed up with other anti-drug campaigns that are run by the National Ad Council. Truth is now self-sustaining; back in 2007 they lost their tobacco company funding because it expired. The only reason they got funding from tobacco companies in the first place is because most the US states sued tobacco companies due to the billions of dollars spent on hospitalizing tobacco victims. As a result, these companies settled out-of-court to fund anti-smoking campaigns like this one. Truth's stance is not about telling people to quit smoking, it's simply an anti-smoking campaign that uses facts in dramatic ways. They're called "Truth" because they're existence is to stop the corruption of the tobacco industry on media...it's not here to tell people to quit smoking or "don't do it" etc. It's just here to tell you the facts, and the rest is up to you.

Here is the real TRUTH. Look up Jeanne Calment. She died at 122 & quit smoking at 119. George Burns lived to 100 smoking cigars. Countless others lived well pass their life-expectancy than their non-smoking peers, so dont blame cigarettes for every smoker's death. But the fact is, smokers live longer on average than non-smokers. DO THE RESEARCH! Smoking is irrelevant. Your life is determined by a number of unknown factors. Smoking is not one of them unless people overdue it. If you eat too much on a daily basis, what happens? If you intake too much salt, what happens? If you eat too much sugar, what happens? If you drink too much on a regular basis, what happens? THE POINT IS TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING WILL KILL YOU IF YOU ABUSE IT.

I think some people are getting Truth mixed up with the Anti-drug commercials. I don't think Truth has ever said anything about marijuana, that I know of. I like these series about the tobacco execs. You should do one and ask the CEOs or high up execs if they would actually use the product they're selling. I read somewhere that there is no current tobacco CEO who uses tobacco. That should tell you something about their product.
