Tina Sugandh represents the next wave of global music. As a singer, songwriter, tabla player, guitarist and dancer, Tina fuses pop music with the traditional sounds of Bollywood. The result? Features in mainstream print magazines around the world, major motion picture soundtracks, an ABC Television theme song, appearances and performances at acclaimed awards shows and events throughout the US and abroad, and all this, prior to the release of her debut record. At the age of five, Tina began performing around the world with her family. The Sugandh Family performed everything from traditional Indian music to Bollywood, singing in seven different languages. The result: Tina is a seasoned performer with an electric stage presence. She has even garnered the nickname "TablaGirl" for her proficiency on the drums that are typically dominated by male players. Tina has spent significant time traveling abroad, collecting traditional Indian instruments to be used on her album, and has seamlessly woven the sounds of India into the texture of her western pop music. Part pop, part Bollywood, Tina Sugandh is like nothing you have heard before.
