There is reverb and then there are the acoustics of the room. I have purchased several of
Eric's instruments and I find the sound of each depends on the setting. My favorite being an oriental flute that each time I play it, I am amazed at the pure notes it produces, and if I want "more reverb", then I go into a room with a more "cloistered ambivalence". But I still enjoy it more outside with nature.
And yes, Eric lives and produces these instruments in Ft. Lauderdale, with bamboo he personally grows, and he is a special soul who cares where his instruments go and more importantly... who is playing them and what do they want in an instrument. He did take time to personally work with my 9 year old daughter to be sure she would be happy.... and she is still ecstatic!

I am very impressed with your musical skill and flute craftsmanship! Have you ever considered making a Japanese "fue" (nohkan) flute? It is a very high-pitched, haunting instrument that's been used in Japanese Noh theatre and the Imperial court for many hundreds of years. I'm certain you've come across it at least once. I am very happy to have found your page! God bless!

Have you ever considered making a arghoul? There are probably several websites about it and I know there are some YouTube videos of it.

You have inspired me to make flutes. I have made a few major scale and Arabian flutes. I've also made some whistles.
