The Sweptaways are thirty women who sing choir-arranged versions of pop tunes. Thirty women in color-coordinated or thematic costumes, who always long for the stage and their extravagant live performances.

The album The Sweptaways Show is out on Hybris on April 15th, 2009, with guests like Robyn, Howlin' Pelle Almqvist, Jens Lekman, Nina Ramsby and Moneybrother.

The Sweptaways debut album Ooh Aah and the EP Cry Cry Christmas were released in 2006, followed by the EP A Christmas Party with The Sweptaways & Friends, 2007 (with guest stars Marit Bergman, Magnus Carlson and The Gray Brigade).
