SLICE Pictures is an award-winning independent film company founded by Josh Guffey. It has been the banner under which Josh has made all 5 of his films to date. His works have been featured at film festivals nationwide including the Foursite Film Festival in Ogden, Utah, the Max Allen Collins Film Expo in Waterloo, IA, and the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival. Recently, Josh's latest film Count on Me won the Silver Eddy for Student Short at the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival and the Award of Achievement for Student (College) Film at the Iowa Motion Picture Association Awards. Josh now lives in Chicago working as a freelance filmmaker for the likes of MTV, Scion, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and George Lucas.
