April 2008 Update!

We used to be just Jesse and Liam, and we played guitar & drums together, sometimes with our guitarist friend Paul Ranson. But we made a couple of new friends recently and formed a band! It was really hard to come up with a band name but we finally decided on "Resisting Gravity".

RESISTING GRAVITY is a kids' rock band whose music is influenced by a variety of styles and people like Andy McKee, Justin King, Matchbox 20, Barenaked Ladies... etc.

Resisting Gravity band members are: Jesse Potter (age 16 - guitar, drums, song-writing), Liam Potter (age 9 - drums, guitar, background vocals), Micaela Comeau (age 12 - bass guitar, vocals) and Jordan Comeau (age 16 - keyboard, background vocals). Paul Ransom still plays guitar with us sometimes too.

I couldn't help notice that, after more than a year here on YouTube, me and Liam have been getting a lot of the same comments and questions over and over... so I got to thinking that it might be worthwhile to compile a list of FAQs and answers. Here it is so far... inspired by the most common types of questions we get.

<u><b>FAQs</b></u>:

<b>1. Is Liam a girl?</b><br>
<i>As I mentioned above, we are brothers. If that doesn't make it clear, then yes, Liam is my girl brother.</i><br>
<b>2. Huh? How can Liam be your girl brother?</b><br>
<i>Well, you see, Liam is a boy anatomically, but as you know, in determining if a kid is a boy or girl, there's one simple prevailing rule -- all kids with long hair are girls!</i><br>
<b>3. Who the heck is Luc?</b><br>
<i>Luc is our 17-year-old cousin who lives in Montreal. He's an uber-talented song-writer, drummer & guitar player -- and all self-taught. We wrote a couple of songs together. Luc is amazing - he can play any song he hears by ear... but don't ask him to play a D or G chord because he won't know how - seriously! He's probably gonna read this and kill me now (I wanna be cremated, ok?!).</i><br>
<b>4. You guys SUCK. That kid is holding the djembe all wrong. Why don't you morons teach her the right way to play it?</b><br>
<i>Gotta love those djembe questions! Actually, we have no clue how to hold a djembe "right" -- but we like the sound Liam makes on it anyway. But I can see it makes you crazy, so here's an idea - don't watch!</i><br>
<b>5. Do you have tabs for "Down Alone"? Can you send them to me?</b><br>
<i>Sorry! Someday I will write out the tabs. In the meantime, you might be able to figure it out by watching my fingers in the video.</i><br>
<b>6. Who in their right mind would play Creed on a f*cking warlock??? Idiots!</b><br>

<b>7. Where do you guys live?</b><br>
