Riyazi Farook holds a Masters Degree in Marketing Management from Middlesex University London, a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the prestigious and largest marketing body in world, The Chartered Institute of Marketing, United Kingdom (CIM-UK). He also possesses Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking and Insurance from the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance, London. Riyazi was the youngest Sri Lankan managed to bring the countrys Islamic Banking and Finance industry to international level, where his article comprised with the latest facts and figures of Sri Lankas Islamic Banking and Finance industry, published in the leading periodicals which have circulation around the world and he also contributed to other international periodicals. More significantly, He was the only Sri Lankan to take part in the inaugural Global Islamic Finance intelligence Summit 2007 held in London was organised by the Financial Times. As he always aspires to be in the business consultancy industry, Riyazi had undergone world class training and development with leading consultancy companies such as The Mersey Partnership and Leathwaite in the UK. He also has experience in working with leading Sri Lankan consultants. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He also successfully completed the required minimum two consecutive years of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) which ultimately lead to achieving Chartered Marketer status-The Chartered Institute of Marketing is the only organisation able to award Chartered Marketer status and is the highest grade of membership of the Institute. He is also an Associate Fellow of the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance, UK.
