These are truly incredible athletes.  I hope to reach their level one day.

The IPF should definitely impose a new rule to ensure the safety of the spotters.

I notice that some of the spotters are wearing sandals and other open toed footwear, which could be a possible safety concern if one of the plates land on their feet.

All spotters must wear sneakers, boots, or similar footwear.

Any spotters wearing open toed footwear, such as sandals, will not be allowed to spot or load the plates.

If most gyms or fitness establishments prohibit sandals, the IPF should do the same for spotters.

Audunn Jonsson should have got a no-lift on his second attempt deadlift as he had some downward movement.

Daniel Grabowski definitely got robbed in his second attempt. Should have been a good lift, 2 for 1, there.

Leoko and Ivanko plates mixed. LOLO I thought they could do better in the highest level competition in PL.
