The Pontifical Mission Societies, active in some 120 countries throughout the world, work to animate the faithful to a universal missionary spirit, reminding them of their Baptismal call to mission, and to gather
support for the efforts of the Church in some 1,150 mission dioceses in Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands and remote regions of Latin America. The Pontifical Mission Societies are: the Society for the Propagation of the Faith, the Holy Childhood Association, The Society of St. Peter Apostle and the Missionary Union of Priests and Religous.

Hi, I'm Monsignor John Kozar, national director of the Pontifical Mission Societies in the United States. In my priesthood, I have met many missionaries. Some have been a continuing presence in one part of the Missions; others have moved many times, bringing with them the hope filled message of our Lord's great love for each of us.
