Part 1: Apex Settings
Homescreen Settings:
Portrait Grid: 10x10 (or change if widgets aren't aligning)
Manage Screens: 2
Transition Effect: Any
Wallpaper Mode: Multiple Screen
Hide: Notification Bar, Shadows, Icon Labels
Dock Settings:
Hide Dock: Enabled
Behaviour Settings:
Home key action: Show app drawer (comes in handy)
Advanced Settings:
Resize Any Widget: Enabled
Overlapping Widgets: Enabled!! (Might be for Pro only)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Wallpaper
Now I'd first suggest you try see if the given wallpapers fit on your phone.
If they don't, Photoshop or GIMP (or any other photo editing software can be used).
There are 3 ways of modifying the given wallpapers, here they are:
1.1 Drag a screenshot you have taken from your phone onto PS.
1.2 Drag a wallpaper you want to modify over this screenshot.
1.3 Move the "handles" of this wallpaper so that they snap onto the screenshot.
1.4 Save this as a .png then copy it onto your phone.
If you don't have PS or even a computer, use this method (Thanks to lkim802):
3.1 Download Photo Editor (free) from the Play Store: http://bit.ly/UUrQZJ
3.2 Select Gallery - Resize/Fit - Resize.
3.3 Select Manual, deselect "Keep aspect Ratio", then add in your phone's screen resolution.
3.4 Save as either a .png or .jpg into a folder where you keep your wallpapers.
Once you have completed setting up all three wallpapers, open up MultiPicture Live Wallpaper, then follow these steps:
Menu - Wallpapers - Live Wallpaper - Multipicture Live Wallpaper.
Settings - Add individual settings - Add 1 then 2.
Then change screen 1 settings - Picture source - Single Picture - Add Screen 1 wall, then repeat for screen 2.
Remember to change Crop/Resize Ratio to - Fit to Fullscreen if you need to.
Change transition type if desired.
Go Back - Set wallpaper.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Screen 1 settings
This wallpaper can either be one with icons or a variant of one with icons.
If you choose the one with icons (as shown in the video), then you need to add Desktop VisualizeR widgets (2x1 size) over each one, and change the image to the blank.png.
If you choose the one with no icons, then your DVR icons must be those icons located in the link above.
Minimal Reader Pro was added, with all backgrounds transparent, text white, and settings buttons and feed count hidden.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Screen 2 settings
For the Frequent Apps, Desktop VisualizeR was used again, same 2x1 size and using the icons that are provided. Select the appropriate app to launch, as well as clearing the label and taking off touch effects if desired.
Simple Calendar Widget was then used for the calendar. All that was changed is Making the line and background transparent and changing the date on the left size to zero.
Finally UCCW was added at the bottom to display the notifications. To add a skin, choose any size for the UCCW widget, then select "open .uzip" and locate ubuntu notif.uzip on your phone.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: WidgetLocker
Here are the options you need to change:
---Look and Feel:
-----Alternative Wallpaper: Enabled
-----Select Wallpaper: Changed to the Ubuntu Lockscreen wallpaper
-----Background Tint: 0
-----Layout: Grid Size - 12x8 (change if widgets aren't aligning)
-----Hide Notification Bar: Enabled
Clock widget used is Clock JB
UCCW skin was used in the middle for the messages, add it the same way as the notifications in Screen 2.
Hold down on the screen - Custom slider - Use this theme: http://bit.ly/U3KtwZ - Swipe the arrow across to enable you to change the icon to a blank.png
*Remember you must copy this theme onto your phone, then use any file explorer to install it...

Method 1: Drag icons that you want from your app drawer, hold down on it and tap the picture, make it a blank png

Part 1: Applying SSLauncher
Link for SSLauncher app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher&hl=en
Once installed, opening the app will bring you to the home screen. Firstly drag all the widgets that are there into the bin at the top. To get rid of all the labels at the top of the page, Tap Menu - Pages-Label Fonts & Style - Hide Labels - Apply Changes. Boom. Once that's out of the you can move onto the wallpaper.
*** The wallpaper for this is a psd file, what you need to do is open it, take off the USED *** APPS layer by clicking on the eye next to it.
*** Next click - Image - Image size - Change it to the screen size of your phone. Go to *** gsmarena.com - search for your phone - look for its display - then size (in pixels).
*** Here are a few examples:
*** Samsung Galaxy S2: 480x800
*** Samsung Galaxy S3: 720 x 1280
*** Samsung Galaxy Note: 800 x 1280
*** Samsung Galaxy Note 2: 720 x 1280
*** Nexus 4: 768 x 1280
Once you have changed the image size, save it and copy it to your phone as a .png.

Using Desktop Visualizer, hold down on the homescreen, select Widget, Desktop VisualizeR, any size will do. This is followed by changing to the desired app as well as changing the icon to the blank png provided.
***Please Note***
Most Used and ShortCuts weren't shown in the video as also used DV and if I had to explain how to add each one the video would be over 10 minutes, so I decided that if you can add one DV widget, you can add them all. The only thing that changes with them is the app opened and the size.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the Simi Folders
Link for the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.th.android.widget.SiMiFolder&hl=en

You want your widget layout to be only an icon, no text. You then proceed to make your icon a blank png. Tap OK - Save. Now that you have your folder, you can proceed to adding apps within it.
Select your desired folder, then tap "Add" to add apps. After choosing all the apps you want tap "Back", then "Back" again, now tap the folder you just added apps to. Drag it over that small icon, resize and BOOM, Simi folder and homesceen complete!

Vintage (HITMAN1K) - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 21,487 views
Haha ain't no rest for the wicked! HITMAN1K produced this awesome Screen of the Day called Vintage... This homescreen tutorial will help you recreate this old school screen all the way from a stock launcher! Let's do it!
Link for the Nexus 4 and S3 wallpaper (I'm no expert in image editing so don't get angry if it doesn't fit just let me know in a comment and I'll see what I can change, I don't have a Nexus 4 or S3 so it's not easy for me to see it fits well):
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/99wq50s9224eavo/WVS-0S4uK4
Link to the Vintage MyColorScreen Page:
http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/12/19/vintage-10/
Here you'll find all the files you need: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/y4vgso61orbwa39/Iqih1AuEs8
The fonts are different due to the license issues with non-free fonts. You can also play with your own fonts, but be aware of chosing one with caps-only
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Launcher Setup
First you need to download Apex Launcher from the Play Store(free version might also do the job):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Here are the Apex Settings that you'll need for this setup:
Homescreen Settings:
- Portrait Grid: 7x7 (unless your screen size changes)
- Vertical and Horizontal Margins: None
- Manage screens - 1 screen
- Wallpaper Mode - Single
- Hide Notification Bar - Enabled
- Hide Icon labels - Enabled
- Hide Shadows - Enabled
Dock Settings:
- Hide Dock: enabled
Advanced Settings:
- Resize any widget - Enabled
- Overlapping Widgets - Enabled (might need Pro Version for this)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: The Wallpaper
If you using a Galaxy S2, just use QuickPic or another similar picture app to set the wallpaper that's provided..
If you using any other phone, I suggest resizing it to your phones dimensions in a photo editing program such as Photoshop or GIMP (I'll upload the Note 2, S3 and Nexus 4 wallpapers soon, but I'm not sure they'll work so let me know)...
The second way is using MultiPicture Live Wallpaper, but make it only one screen (if you have 2 screens set, go into your system settings - Apps - MultiPicture Live Wallpaper - Clear Data) Then choose common settings, set the wallpaper given and Crop/Resize Ratio to fit to fullscreen... Let me know which is easier :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: The UCCW Widgets
This is the other way of importing UCCW skins, copy the .uccw files into /sdcard/UltimateCustomClockWidget, then copy the two fonts into /sdcard/fonts (if this folder isn't there, create it).
Now when you add each UCCW skin (I used 5x2 sizes and they worked well for me) and instead of importing a .uzip like you usually do, your skin will already be in the list (don't worry if the picture looks different).
Add them in one by one, resize them smaller to make room and overlap after placing them.
Remember to edit your gmail account by tapping that skin (hold down - send to back if you can't get to it) to open the editor, select the Gmail 1 in the item selection - swipe all the way to the end - then choose your account and label. Location can be edited by pressing Menu - Settings - Location.
No idea how to use UCCW? See these links:
Part 1: http://youtu.be/s5X0ZCI5Kg0
Part 2: http://youtu.be/t5c2Sa9UGG0
Part 3: http://youtu.be/Dz2zf_AJRFc
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Adding in the Icons
This is the easy part. To add in your app drawer, hold down on the homescreen - Apex Settings - App Drawer. Now hold down on that - Edit - Tap the picture - change to the app drawer you copied onto your phone earlier. For phone and messages just drag them from your app drawer onto your homescreen and change the icon in the same way :)
Remember to Resize your UCCW's if they get in the way and hold down on them - Send to Back - if they overlap your icons
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: Have a good Holiday and an awesome New Year!
Remember to share/like/comment on this video as well as subscribe if you haven't already ;) so that we can grow the MyColorScreen community! Next year you will see big changes with MCS so stay tuned! BOOM! -

This Android Homescreen Tutorial will put your phone on another level of customization. Simple FlipCards by Alex T. is defininately going to be your next homescreen setup, and do not worry, it's VERY easy to do :)
Link to Simple FlipCard MyColorScreen Page (comes with everything!... See it's description):
http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/12/18/simple-flipcards/
Paper Wallpaper Original:
http://db.tt/4SfipRze
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Settings
In case you missed it in the video here they are:
Homescreen Settings:
Portrait Grid: 8x6
Manage Screens: 3
Infinite Scrolling: Bounce
Elastic Scrolling: Enabled
Transition Effect: Flip!!! (Apex Pro only I think)
Wallpaper Mode: Single Screen
Hide: Notification Bar, Shadows, Icon Labels
Dock Settings:
Hide Dock: Enabled
Behaviour Settings:
Home key action: Show app drawer (comes in handy)
Theme Settings:
If you want those crazy cool icons seen in the homepage
download them from the Play Store, then use them here,
but don't select the wallpaper...
Advanced Settings:
Resize Any Widget: Enabled
Overlapping Widgets: Enabled!! (Might be for Pro only)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Placing of the UCCW widget
This works well if you planning on using Alex T's UCCW skins, as they are already rectangular, so I suggest using them now and editing it later. First hold down on the homescreen - Add - Widget - UCCW - Any size.
- Open up one of Alex T's UCCW skins (doesn't matter which), then resize so it covers left to right and just one space from the top and bottom (as seen in the video)
- Tap the UCCW widget to bring up the editor - Select background from the top option - Change its color to plain white (make sure your current wallpaper has no white in it)
- In the +/- option at the top, deselect everything that's shown (e.g. Time)
- Press back to exit the editor, your screen should have a white UCCW in the middle now, take a screenshot of that (either with your ROM or an app from the Play Store)
- Copy this image to your computer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Photoshop (I'm not an expert so if you know a quicker way to do this do that instead)
Step 1: Place Screenshot on PC
Step 2: Right Click, Open with, Adobe Photoshop (or GIMP)
Step 3: Click Magic Wand Tool, Click White Space
Step 4: Click Selection Tool, Right Click White Space - Fill
Step 5: Click Use Color drop down menu, click color.
Step 6: Look for R G B on the right, make all equal 32, click OK, then OK again.
Step 7: Right click on dark space now, click layer Via Copy
Step 8: If you want the background to be the same as Alex T's, drag white-paper-texture.jpg onto screen, and resize to cover background, click the tick
Step 9: Look on the layers to the left, make sure this white paper is underneath your "black" layer, click and drag it underneath if it isn't (your black layer will appear if done correctly)
Step 10: Save as a .png, Copy to your phone!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Setting up the Flip Cards
Great! The "hard" part is over :) Now change your wallpaper to that screenshot you edited in Photoshop, check your Flip Card works by that UCCW widget you placed in the beginning (the plain white one). If that works, change it back to the normal skin by tapping it again, but now going Menu - Open Skin - Look for the skin you previously opened.
Now place a skin on each screen (should be 3 unless you made more with other cards)
If they all look good, Great! Now resize them so they only take up a small space at the top. This will allow you to place your icons/Minimal Reader Pro/Phantom Music Pro onto each screen.
Placing the home icons is easy, if you have installed Alex T's icons, your app drawer should have them mostly converted to those awesome icons. Just open your app drawer and drag them onto your homescreen. Now drag your UCCW Home skin over it, if it covers your icons, hold down on it - Send to back.
Minimal Reader Pro (free version is also good!):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jv.minimalreader&hl=en
Phantom Music Control:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.jhg.musiccontrolwidget
These widgets are easy to add, just add them like a normal widget, then drag the UCCW's over them and make sure to send to back if they get covered!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: App drawer icon
You nearly finished! Please see video for this part! (Ran out of space)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wooahhh that was intense, but now marvel at your creation! and make your friends marvel at it too! Sorry it was so long, won't be like this again (I hope)...

Tiles 3.0 (by dadilydoo) - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 18,779 views
Simple, colorful and functional are all words that can describe this amazing homescreen. Being only one screen, it combines style (with its unique tile wallpaper at the top) with function (with its monthly calendar and notifications). This homescreen has all the info you need, all in one beautifully designed homescreen.
Tiles 3.0 on MyColorScreen: http://bit.ly/W7j66x
Part 1: Before you begin
Download this link (wallpapers, UCCW skins, icons): http://bit.ly/WtI9NJ
New Wallpapers (up to August): www.mycolorscreen.com/2013/05/02/tiles-4-0/
Alternate Skin for UCCW notification skin if needed (might need to be resized depending on your launcher): http://bit.ly/XDUMVy
Part 2: Applying Nova Launcher Settings
You're going to need Nova Launcher Prime as your base launcher, but Apex Launcher Pro or Holo Launcher can also be used as the setups are virtually identical.
Here's how you should set up the launcher, start off by selecting your Menu button then Nova Settings on your homescreen:
Desktop
Desktop Grid: 7x6
Manage Screens: 2
Hide: Shadows, Icon Labels
Enable: Resize all widgets, Widget Overlap
Dock
Enable Dock: Disabled
Look and Feel
Show Notification Bar: Disabled
Gestures and Buttons
Home Button: Show app drawer (comes in handy)
You may use gestures to show/toggle the notification bar or app drawer.
Part 3: Setting up the wallpapers
Hold down on the homescreen, select Wallpapers.
Select QuickPic wallpaper, or any other gallery app.
Make the crop box touch the left and right edges, only leave a small white gap at the top (see video).
Select OK.
Apex Launcher works better here as it uses QuickPic's way of setting the wallpaper when in Quickpic, so use that if not satisfied with Nova.
Go back in your Nova Settings - Desktop - Manage Screens - Delete the second screen.
Part 4: Icon Setup
There are many ways to place your app shortcuts. If you using Nova Launcher we recommend:
Holding down on the homescreen - Apps - Select Multiple, allowing you to place multiple apps in one go.
Another way is simply holding down an app from the app drawer and placing it onto the screen.
Now hold down on each icon - Edit - Select the picture - Find the icon image using a file explorer if necessary.
If the bottom icons disappear, enable the dock, take them out, disable the dock, place them back
If problem occurs again, rather edit them one row above to avoid the icons disappearing.
Part 5: Adding in the UCCW widgets (Clock & Notifications)
You'll need UCCW for this part, as well as copying the skins that are provided in the link at the bottom to your phone.
To add these skins:
Hold down on the homescreen - Widget - UCCW - any size.
In the main menu after tapping the widget, select "Open uzip", now just find where you pasted the folder and look for the skin you want to add.
After it appears on your homesreen, resize it to the way it looks in the video.
Do this for each of the skins that are found in the folder.
You can now edit the hotspots (allows you to open apps when tapping a certain area) in this skin, by tapping the skin to open it.
Then select 'Hotspots' in 'Select Object', followed by editing your needed hotspots.
If you would like to know more about hotspots, see the link below.
Finally tap any UCCW skin, Menu - Hotspots Mode - On.
Notice: If your notifications skin creates a white box when placing, see the alternate skin, it's still identical however.
UCCW Tutorials here
Remember if you can't edit your UCCW, it means your Hotspots mode is on, and you need to turn it off by going into your UCCW app from your App Drawer. To turn Hotspots mode off select Menu - Hotspots Mode - Off. Also if you don't UCCW to open up if you touch it, simply enable Hotspots mode.
Necessary Apps
Nova Launcher Prime (as seen in the video): http://bit.ly/SUNG3W
Apex Launcher Pro: http://bit.ly/V7Ryvy
UCCW: http://bit.ly/10BIOnI
Optional Apps

Pulldown (GaRyArTs) - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 12,674 views
Awesome Screen of the Day by GaRyArTs! This screen will definitely cause jaws to drop! I recommend this to anyone who is a beginner, as the video goes through everything step by step.
Here is the dropbox link, either download it straight to your phone or copy it from your PC: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/pulldown.zip
Here is the link to GaRyArTs mycolorscreen page:
http://mycolorscreen.com/garyarts/
Here are the links to all the apps you need:
UCCW: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget&hl=en
Apex Launcher (free version might work too): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Before you start make sure you download the dropbox link file above, as well as the apps above. Copy the Pulldown folder onto your phone, as this makes things a lot easier.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Settings
In case you missed it in the video, here are the settings once again:
Homescreen Settings
-Portrait Grid: 9x7
-Horizontal Margins: None
-Vertical Margins: None
-Manage Screens: 2 Screens
-Transition Speed - 1 or 0 **** Note: This is only for the old version of Apex, if you want instant scoll, try SSLauncher ****
-Transition Type/Effect - None
-Wallpaper Mode: Multiple Screen (scrolling)
-Hide Notification Bar: Enabled
Dock Settings
-Hide Dock: Enabled
That's the Apex Launcher setup complete, now just change your wallpaper to the one in the folder Pulldown that GaRyArts has provided and you good to go...
------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding the white icons
Wow these icons are mad. Simply drag all the files you want from your app drawer onto your homescreen. Once they all lined up, hold down each one and select - Edit - tap the picure - Select Picture - choose one provided in the folder. Do this for all of them, I prefer using QuickPic as it remembers where you last left off, so it doesn't take too long :)
App drawer is done in the same way except now you hold down on the homescreen - Apex Actions - App drawer, add to both sides and change the icon to the one that looks like a white circle in a blue rectangle.
------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the UCCW Widgets (Clock and Weather Buttons)
Simply add these by holding down on the homescreen - Widget - UCCW - 5x2 (clock) size. In the main menu after tapping the widget, select "Open uzip", now just find where you pasted the folder and look for the pulldownclock.uzip. After it appears on your homesreen, resize it to the way it looks in the video. Do it for both screens, for both clock and weather. Weather uses a 1x1 size and uses some resizing.
***IF YOU WANT TO STOP UCCW OPENING EVERYTIME YOU BUMP YOUR PHONE, ONCE IN THE APPS MAIN PAGE GO TO MENU - HOTSPOTS MODE - ON***
If you would like to know more about hotspots, watch part 3 in my UCCW tutorial...
------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: The Pulldown Effect
Such genius. It's simply jumping very quickly from one screen to the next. This is achieved by going to your homescreen - Menu - Add - Apex Actions - Screen 2 (Screen 1 when you on screen 2) tapping this button will make you quickly jump to the next page, provided you have set your transition speed to 1 or 0 and transition type to none, both in the Apex Settings.
------------------------------------------------------
Thanks very much for watching this tutorial, I hope you enjoyed it :)
Also please subscribe the mycolorscreen channel, lots more videos to come!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Settings
In case you missed it in the video here they are:
Homescreen Settings:
Portrait Grid: 10x9
Manage Screens: 5
Transition Effect: Card Stack
Wallpaper Mode: Mutiple Screen Scrolling (only for MultiPicture Live Wallpaper)
Hide: Notification Bar, Shadows, Icon Labels
Dock Settings:
Hide Dock Divider: Enabled
Number of Dock pages: 1
Number of Dock Icons: 7 (might change according to phone)
Behaviour Settings:
Home key action: Show app drawer (comes in handy)
Advanced Settings:
Resize Any Widget: Enabled
Overlapping Widgets: Enabled!! (Might be for Pro only)
Widgets in Dock: Enabled
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: The Wallpaper
Seeing as I received a lot of criticism for my wallpaper resizing attempts I decided not to add in any of my own, only the ones Alex T. has provided...
There are 2 ways of setting up your wallpaper:
2.1 You have a Galaxy S2 or have managed to resize the Multipicture Live Wallpaper to fit your screen
2.2 You have a S3/Nexus 4/any other phone that the MPLW doesn't look good with
For 2.1, set up is easy:
1. Menu (or hold down on homescreen) - Add - Wallpaper - Live Wallpaper - Multipicture Live Wallpaper.
2. Add Individual Settings - Add 1, then 2, 3, 4, 5
3. Screen 1 settings - Picture Source - Single Picture - Use 1st screen in "for Multipicture Live Wallpaper.
4. Crop/Resize Ratio - Fit to Screen (should work)
5. Repeat for other screens
6. Disable (untick) all options in the main menu.
7. Transition Type - None
8. Go back - Set Wallpaper
For 2.2:
1. Menu (or hold down on homescreen) - Add - Wallpaper - QuickPic
2. Look for single wall, make sure single screen is set in Homescreen Settings in Apex Settings.
3. This should work, if not, Alex T. provided this walpaper for S3 users (it's blue though):
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/12923162/Themes/Swipeable%20Cards/swiping%20cards%20GS3lightblue.png
--------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Placing of the UCCW widgets
Place a skin on each screen (hold down on the homescreen, widget - UCCW - 5x2 size works well - open .uzip - search for uccwOutput).
If they all look good, Great! Now resize them so they only take up a small space at the top. This will allow you to place your icons/Minimal Reader Pro/Phantom Music Pro onto each screen.
Placing the icons for the "FREQUENT APPS" is easy, just open your app drawer and drag them onto your homescreen. Hold down on each icon - Edit - Tap the image - look for orange icons. Now drag your UCCW Home skin over it, if it covers your icons, hold down on it - Send to back.
***Remember to check out our UCCW Tutorials if you get stuck with anything***
Minimal Reader Pro (free version is also good!):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jv.minimalreader&hl=en
Phantom Music Control:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.jhg.musiccontrolwidget
These widgets are easy to add, just add them like a normal widget, then drag the UCCW's over them and make sure to send to back if they get covered!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Picture Frame and Google Search Setup
This part is easy, just add 2 Desktop VsualizeR widgets, place them over the picture and google search, your icons used will be blank png's and open apps according to what you want...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: The Lockscreen
Here is the link for the theme that was used:
http://milosstankostanko.deviantart.com/art/HN-WidgetLocker-Theme-204878678
Remember to either use your file explorer to install it once it's on your phone, or just paste it into /sdcard/data/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So mad! And so intense! Stand back as everyone will be jealous of this bright, bold and creative homescreen!

Battery Circle Skin & Galaxy S2 skins - http://bit.ly/13VUd0s
Here are all the apps you need (Nova Launcher is used here but Apex or Holo are also good, and you can try work with a free version but it won't be easy):
Nova Launcher Prime: http://bit.ly/WlA6U1
Apex Launcher Pro: http://bit.ly/V7Ryvy
UCCW: http://bit.ly/10BIOnI
Here are all the apps you might need:
Photo Editor: http://bit.ly/WQVZc1
Wallpaper Wizardrii: http://bit.ly/Wzk1d9
===========================================
Part 1: Applying Nova Launcher Settings
You're going to need Nova Launcher as your base launcher, but Apex Launcher or Holo Launcher can also be used as the setups are virtually identical.
Here's how you should set up the launcher, start off by selecting your Menu button then Nova Settings on your homescreen:
Set 'Desktop Grid' to 8x9 (works for the Nexus 4, S2 uses a 10x9)
"Show Shadows" and "Icon Labels" should be disabled.
"Home Screens" should be changed so that is 2 screens.
"Resize all widgets" and "Widget Overlap" should all be enabled.
Under "Look and Feel", disable "Show Notification Bar"
Under "Dock", disable "Enable Dock".
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Wallpaper
- Wallpaper for a Nexus 4
Simply use QuickPic (an alternative gallery app) to choose the wallpaper provided in the link at the top of this description, make sure the crop box takes up the whole wallpaper.
- Wallpaper for other phones where the one above doesn't fit too well
For this we first recommend Wallpaper Wizardrii. Once you have found the wallpaper using QuickPic or your stock Gallery, select Menu - Set As - Wallpaper Wizardrii, then select Set - Stretch - Landscape - Scroll.
If this doesn't work, you might want to try other methods such as an image editor (Photoshop or GIMP) or even the app Photo Editor if you don't have a PC nearby. Remember that your height stays the same but the width must double.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: App shortcuts and Screen Jumpers
There are many ways to place your app shortcuts. If you using Nova Launcher I recommend holding down on the homescreen - Apps - Select Multiple, allowing you to place multiple apps in one go. Another way is simply holding down an app from the app drawer and placing it onto the screen.
See the App setup folder provided in xNiikk's link at the top for more detail on app icon placing.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Adding in the UCCW widgets (Notifications/Time/Battery/etc)
You'll need UCCW for this part, as well as copying the skins that are provided in the link at the bottom to your phone.
To add these skins:
- Hold down on the homescreen - Widget - UCCW - any size.
- In the main menu after tapping the widget, select "Open uzip", now just find where you pasted the folder and look for the skin you want to add.
- After it appears on your homesreen, resize it to the way it looks in the video.
- Do this for each of the skins that are found in the folder.
- You can now edit the hotspots (allows you to open apps when tapping a certain area) in this skin, by tapping the skin to open it.
- Then select 'Hotspots' in 'Select Object', followed by editing your needed hotspots.
- If you would like to know more about hotspots, see the link below.
- Finally tap any UCCW skin, Menu - Hotspots Mode - On.
UCCW Tutorials: http://bit.ly/Sq9Euf
Remember if you can't edit your UCCW, it means your Hotspots mode is on, and you need to turn it off by going into your UCCW app from your App Drawer. To turn Hotspots mode off select Menu - Hotspots Mode - Off.

- Wallpaper for other phones where the one above doesn't fit too well
Use this wallpaper if you have an S3, it should fit better than the other one provided. However if it doesn't fit, or you have another phone that has a different resolution, try Wallpaper Wizardrii.
Once you have found the wallpaper using QuickPic or your stock Gallery, select Menu - Set As - Wallpaper Wizardrii, then select Set - More - Scale - No Scroll (if any message pops up, select continue with No Scroll as well as "Never Show me this again".
If this doesn't work, you might want to try other methods such as an image editor (Photoshop or GIMP) or other wallpaper apps such as MultiPicture Live Wallpaper or Image 2 Wallpaper.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding in the UCCW widgets (Notifications in the middle of the screen)

The inspiration of method from here (Andi):

Part 1: Applying Apex and its settings
Here is the link for Apex Launcher Pro, as it comes with a few key features needed for this screen as well as many others:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Key changes here would be changing the 'portrait grid' to 9x7, manage screens should be changed so that there are only 2 screens, 'Wallpaper mode' should be single screen and 'Hide notification bar' should be ticked. Back to the main screen, change your Dock Settings by scrolling down and selecting 'Hide Dock'. Next would be to go back into the main screen, go into advanced settings, and select 'Overlapping Widgets'. Finally change your wallpaper to the one provided in the link above...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding in the Homescreen Indicators and App Drawer
For the Homescreen indicators at the bottom, use the Apex Actions (holding down on the homescreen) and selecting Screen 1 and Screen 2. After changing the icon to the blank png, you can simply tap these to jump to the next screen, mad!
Do the same for the App Drawer :)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the UCCW Widgets
Simply add the UCCW widgets that are provided in the link at the top. This can be done by copying them onto your phone then selecting them when you choose "Open uzip" on the UCCW menu.
Also remember to ALWAYS resize your widgets, dragging them will simply move everything around, not good...

NYC Streets - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 7,522 views
It's the Big Apple, Android style! Enjoy Keeent's latest homescreen, NYC Streets, with it's unique triangle designs that also serve as icons. This homescreen is great for beginners and minimal enthusiasts (provided the wallpaper fits) as it has very little elements. This video tutorial will guide you all the way from simple stock homescreen to one that you can call home...
#UPDATED# Uzips & wall: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/95787933/NYC%20streets%20updated.zip
Try this wall if your UCCW's are a bit high:
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/95787933/NYC%20streets%20modified.png
Will try create Walls for other phones but I can't guarantee they will work (you might have to edit the UCCW's or even create new ones)
Here is the link to the original page on MyColorScreen:
http://mycolorscreen.com/2013/01/02/nyc-streets/
Blank png (needed to make blank icons):
https://www.dropbox.com/s/sfu8he8pi7cf9sz/Blank.png
------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Launcher Setup (or Nova, but widget height might differ)
First you need to download Apex Launcher from the Play Store(free version might also do the job):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Here are the Apex Settings that you'll need for this setup:
Homescreen Settings:
- Portrait Grid: 8x5 (unless your screen size changes, 5x3 works for the S2)
- Vertical and Horizontal Margins: None
- Manage screens - 1 screen
- Wallpaper Mode - Single
- Hide Notification Bar - Enabled
- Hide Icon labels - Enabled
- Hide Shadows - Enabled
Dock Settings:
- Hide Dock: enabled
Advanced Settings:
- Resize any widget - Enabled
- Overlapping Widgets - Enabled (might need Pro Version for this)
Also remember to add a way to access your app drawer, either by setting your menu button to do this or a gesture (Nova you might need Prime for that)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: The Wallpaper
Now when you add each UCCW skin (I used 5x2 sizes and they worked well for me) and simply choose import .uzip once you in the UCCW main screen.
Add them in one by one, resize them smaller to make room and overlap after placing them. If you using another it's simple to shift the items up, just select the item, then use faster movements to move them all up/down, very easy!
Remember to edit your gmail account by tapping that skin (hold down - send to back if you can't get to it) to open the editor, select the Gmail 1 in the item selection - swipe all the way to the end - then choose your account and label.
No idea how to use UCCW? See these links:
Part 1: http://youtu.be/s5X0ZCI5Kg0
Part 2: http://youtu.be/t5c2Sa9UGG0
Part 3: http://youtu.be/Dz2zf_AJRFc
***If you tap your UCCW and nothing happens, that means that you have enabled your ***hotspots mode, and must disable it if you want to edit any of your skins

Triton - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 8,050 views
Credits go to xNiikk for this mad homescreen!

Everything you need to apply is in the link here:

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying SSLauncher and its settings
Here is the link for SSLauncher, it's very tricky to get used to, but is very orginal and very, very customizable...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher&hl=en
All you need to change is the page wallpaper, provided in the link above, hide the status bar as well as the dock.
Also the "Hide Labels" needs to be applied in the "label fonts and style" setting when you select the "Pages" option.
***You can also you Apex Launcher if you are more comfortable using it***
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding in the icons
***I MEANT TO SAY SSLAUNCHER NOT DESKTOP VISUALIZER*** My apologies, but both are just as good, the stock SSLauncher adds icons much easier to me though...
This part is little different, as SSLauncher is extremely customizable for this part. Hold down the homescreen and choose add shortcut.
To open an app, choose Application in Action Type (or page if you want to open the the Hot! Page in the case of the star) and choose your preferred app.
Change your icon to the ones provided in the link below, and remember to choose the icon style to the one with the blank background and set the icon size to 20x20.
Here is the link for the icons:
http://somerandomdude.com/work/iconic/
***Always remember to tap apply settings after each step else it will forget***
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: UCCW Notifications
This was quite a simple setup here. Using a 1x2 widget size will fit perfectly, well for me it did. Then I just added the "Missed Calls" and "Text Messages" options in the "+/-" area. See my UCCW Tutorial for an in depth guide here: http://youtu.be/s5X0ZCI5Kg0
Font used is Basic L, here is the link:

------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Launcher Setup
First you need to download Apex Launcher from the Play Store(free version might also do the job):
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Here are the Apex Settings that you'll need for this setup:
Homescreen Settings:
- Portrait Grid: 9x10 (unless your screen size changes, 5x3 works for the S2)
- Vertical and Horizontal Margins: None
- Manage screens - 1 screen
- Wallpaper Mode - Single
- Hide Notification Bar - Enabled
- Hide Icon labels - Enabled
- Hide Shadows - Enabled
Dock Settings:
- Hide Dock: enabled
Advanced Settings:
- Resize any widget - Enabled
- Overlapping Widgets - Enabled (might need Pro Version for this)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: The Wallpaper
If you using a Galaxy S2, just use QuickPic or another similar picture app to set the wallpaper that's provided..
If you using any other phone, I suggest resizing it to your phones dimensions in a photo editing program such as Photoshop or GIMP (I'll upload the Note 2, S3 and Nexus 4 wallpapers soon, but I'm not sure they'll work so let me know)...
The second way is using MultiPicture Live Wallpaper, but make it only one screen (if you have 2 screens set, go into your system settings - Apps - MultiPicture Live Wallpaper - Clear Data) Then choose common settings, set the wallpaper given and Crop/Resize Ratio to fit to fullscreen... Let me know which is easier :)
***As you can see in the video I used a S3 and it still looks mad!***
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: The UCCW Widgets
This is the other way of importing UCCW skins, copy the .uccw files into /sdcard/UltimateCustomClockWidget, then copy the two fonts into /sdcard/fonts (if this folder isn't there, create it).
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Adding in the Icons
This is the easy part. To add in your app drawer, hold down on the homescreen - Apex Settings - App Drawer. Now hold down on that - Edit - Tap the picture - change to the app drawer you copied onto your phone earlier. For phone and messages just drag them from your app drawer onto your homescreen and change the icon in the same way :)
You can also use Desktop VisualizeR, it's quicker but then this might cause battery drain, so just see whichever one you prefer, as they both just as good.
Also change the screen grid size if these 2 don't line up so well..
Remember to Resize your UCCW's if they get in the way and hold down on them - Send to Back - if they overlap your icons

The Web (GaRyArTs) - Android Homescreen Tutorial

Feeling the grunge style? Check out this awesome Android Homescreen! This tutorial will guide you into turning you boring setup into something that should be featured in a Matrix movie!
Credits go to GaRyArTs for this mad homescreen!

http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15951305/theweb.zip
Download it and extract it, then copy it to your phone...

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying Apex and its settings
Here is the link for Apex Launcher Pro, as it comes with a few key features needed for this screen as well as many others:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Key changes here would be changing the 'portrait grid' to 9x7, manage screens should be changed so that there are only 2 screens, 'Wallpaper mode' should be mutiple screen (scrolling) and 'Hide notification bar' should be ticked. Back to the main screen, change your Dock Settings by scrolling down and selecting 'Hide Dock'. Next would be to go back into the main screen, go into advanced settings, and select 'Overlapping Widgets'. Finally change your wallpaper to the one provided in the link above...
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding the UCCW Widgets
Here is the link to this amazing free app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget&hl=en
Simply add the UCCW widgets that are provided in the link at the top. This can be done by copying them onto your phone then selecting them when you choose "Open uzip" on the UCCW menu.
Also remember to ALWAYS resize your widgets, dragging them will simply move everything around, not good... If say for example the Weather skin moves your icons around, say send to back so it doesn't get in the way (hold down on it when you resize it over something)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding in the Red Icons
These were easily done by dragging an app from your app drawer and placing over a red block. Hold down on the icon, select edit, tap the icon and change to the "transparent" icon that's provided above. Folder is done the same way except now you drag multiple icons into one spot, then change that folder icon, simple!
Lastly the app drawer is done the same as adding icons, but now you select Menu - Add - Apex Actions - App drawer. Place it in the corner and change it to the red block that's provided in the folder Gary has provided..

Min Scrolling Time: 1 (tell that to Nova)
Transition Effect: None
Wallpaper Mode: MULTIPLE SCREEN (SCROLLING)
Show indicator: Disable
Hide Notification Bar: Enabled

Part 2: Multipicture Live Wallpaper Settings
Here is the link to the app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture&hl=en
1. To start, hold down and choose wallpaper, then live wallpaper, then Multipicture Live Wallpaper.
2. Go into settings, then change "Add individual settings" to 5.
3. Now choose Screen 1 settings, Picture Source, Single Picture, QuickPic (or another picture app if you have, then find the wallpaper I've provided that has the user icon highlighted.
3. Repeat step 3 for the rest of the screen settings and just change the wallpaper to another one which I've provided, which ever you select doesn't really matter as long as you remember which screen is which.
4. Once all 5 screens have have been configured, go back, then tap "Select Wallpaper".
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: How to transition between pages
Now this is a bit lengthy but the end result is mad.
1. Start out by holding down on the screen, Apex Actions, now select screen 2.
2. Place this over your calender icon.
3. Now go back into Apex Actions, but choose screen 3, and place it over your phone icon.
4. Do this again for screens 4 and 5, that's your first page almost complete.
5. Now do this for all the other screens, just don't place the icon of which the screen is, i.e, Calender is screen 2, so you don't need to add screen 2.
6. Once all 5 screens are complete, hold down each icon, go edit, tap the picture, and select the blank icon I've provided. Do this for all the icons :P
-----------------------------------------------------------------
And there we have it, I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial, and another one should be out later today, I hope... Please subscribe to the mycolorscreen channel! -

--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying SSLauncher and its settings
Here is the link for SSLauncher, it's very tricky to get used to, but is very orginal and very, very customizable...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher&hl=en
All you need to change is the page wallpaper, provided in the link above, hide the status bar as well as the dock.
Also the "Hide Labels" needs to be applied in the "label fonts and style" setting when you select the "Pages" option.
***You can also you Apex Launcher if you are more comfortable using it***
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: UCCW components
Sorry I can't provide the icons, just check the link above and download from xNiikk's website. The skin uses Quicksilver Bold font, and contains my location, date, time and current temperature. To make the clock have a dot instead of a colon, choose hour and minute separately, then make the full stop a suffix after the hour :) Mad!
The other skin on the right was also UCCW, adding in 3 images, with notifications for battery, gmail and text messages.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding in the RSS Icon and Search Widget
This part is little different, as SSLauncher is extremely customizable for this part. Hold down the homescreen and choose add shortcut.
To open a RSS app, choose Application in Action Type (or page if you want to open the the Hot! Page in the case of the star) and choose your preferred rss feader (news) app.
Change your icon to a blank png as provided, and make the background transparent (not the icon BG the shortcut BG).
***Always remember to tap apply settings after each step else it will forget***
Simi Folder here was just a quick simple setup, but I shall provide a tutorial for it very soon :) Here is the link for the app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.th.android.widget.SiMiFolder&hl=en

Social Media - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 4,572 views
This Android Homescreen Tutorial brings together minimalism and social networking, all in one screen. The Screen of the Day is called Social Media and was created by xNiikk.
Visit his MyColorScreen Page:
http://mycolorscreen.com/xNiikk/
Click here for all the resources needed:
http://www.screenlicious.com/2012/12/07/social-media/
Icons:
http://developer.android.com/design/downloads/index.html
Font:
http://www.fonts2u.com/roboto-light.font
------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying SSLauncher
Once installed, opening the app will bring you to the home screen. To get rid of all the labels at the top of the page, Tap Menu - Pages-Label Fonts & Style - Hide Labels - Apply Changes. Boom. Once that's out of the you can move onto the wallpaper.
The wallpapers are found in the resources link. To change Home's wallpaper, tap Menu - Pages - Current Background - Add an image - Then find the wallpaper called Normal. That SSLauncher set up.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding in the Clock
For all the clock, UCCW was used. I used a 1x1, and simply added in the "Time" option. The font used is Roboto Light, which is provided in the link above. Now you can make this clock open up the Clock app by using UCCW's Hotspot feature. No idea what that is? Follow this link:
http://youtu.be/Dz2zf_AJRFc
UCCW is also used for Tweedle's Hashtag icon... Using the "Static Text" option and then literally typing in #, that's it :) Also just change the color to an off-white.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding in the Icons
Here Desktop VisualizeR was used. Holding down on the Homscreen - Widget - Desktop VisualizeR - 1x1. Then for the icon, use the google icons provided in the link above, I used the xhdpi with all the icons as they slightly off-white. Then choose the desired action that you require. The seach bar also used Desktop VisualizeR, you can stretch it so it fits perfectly.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Adding the Simi Folder
Hold down on the homesceen - Widget - Simi Folder - 1x1. From here you can select "Settings", then "Add Folder". Choose any folder name, then go into widget settings.

Flower (Yihaomizhijia) - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 4,638 views
Another great homescreen courtesy of Yihaomizhijia! Wow this screen has everything, great colors, amazing functionality and very easy on the eye...
Here is the link to Yihaomizhijia's MyColorscreen page:
http://mycolorscreen.com/yihaomizhijia/
For the wallpaper and icons, find them here (look for icons and wallpaper on the right):
http://mycolorscreen.com/2012/11/11/flower-12/
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying SSLauncher and its settings
Here is the link for SSLauncher, it's very tricky to get used to, but is very orginal and very, very customizable...
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher&hl=en
All you need to change is the page wallpaper, provided in the link above, hide the status bar as well as the dock.
Also the "Hide Labels" needs to be applied in the "label fonts and style" setting when you select the "Pages" option.
***You can also you Apex Launcher if you are more comfortable using it***
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding the settings icon
This can be done either with Desktop VisualizeR or with SSLauncher's "add shortcut" option. I sometimes prefer DV though as it's a lot quicker.
Desktop VisualizeR link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.bii.android.app.dskvzr&hl=en
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the UCCW Widgets
Here is the link for UCCW:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget&hl=en
***Edit: Added the Time uzip, as the skin below is almost the same just the images and text need to change:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/1i1vqz3pdl44ffd/FlowerTime.uzip
This part is a little tricky, as it might take some time.
The colors used in this as well as the other widgets is: AF5A73.
Starting with the Data skin, adding everything isn't too bad, you just have to add in: Static Text, the 3 images (icons provided in link above), time and date. The Free Memory is actually Minimalist Text widget I added, I guess it's either choosing Internal SD Free or Free Ram in custom layout, your choice. A 1x1 size was used.
After creating that UCCW, I saved it, allowing me just to change the text, icon types and the left info, but still staying the same size/font/color.
Finally the Battery bar skin was created using Static Text, Battery Level (Add the suffix "%") and the battery bar. The setup for the bar is:
Controls #3 - Width: 600 Height: 0 Battery Level Color: Color mentioned above
Controls #4: Height: 5
***ALTERNATIVE USING JUST SSLAUNCHER*** (excl. Battery Bar)
1. Another way of doing it would be to simply hold down on the homescreen - shortcut - Take off the option Clickable
2. Style - Choose the one with an icon on the left of the text and select it.
3. Icon - Icon - Add the icon you want - Apply Settings
4. Title - Text - Select an appropriate option below (i.e. Unread SMS messages) - Then type in the static text (i.e. Missed calls) before it and make spaces before and after the text (for the icon that will be on the left) - Apply Settings
5. Apply Settings again - Resize and move accordingly (hold down and select edit if needed.
6. You can now copy and paste your first one 5 times, then simply edit the text/icon/info for each of the other 5 notifiers. Simple!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: The Apps screen
The clock on the left was a simple 1x1 UCCW widget that only has the time option chosen.
For the Media, Internet and Others:
Icons are all Desktop VisualizeR widgets (it might take long to add them all but I suggest just adding them all in unmodded then, allowing you to resize them easier). SSLauncher also helps you with its green "guides".
The titles were created with one UCCW skin, and then modded as shown. Not much to it.
The bottom applications text can either open up the app drawer, or Simi Folder. For Simi Folder, select a widget option for both text and an icon, then just make the icon a blank.png. To make it open the app drawer, SSLauncher's New object "Shortcut" is used and you simply change the type to Page, and target to Applications. Then change the style to one only with text, and changing the text accordingly.
Finally the Home/Apps Homescreen "jumpers" can be created using SSLauncher's "Shortcut" just like the one above, but you just have to change the icon to a blank icon, and target to either Home or Apps.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha wow, if you managed to do all of that, I'm very impressed. This homescreen is not one of the easy ones, but it is definitely worth it!

Tiles Remixed - Android Homescreen Tutorial
by mycolorscreen 4,333 views
This homescreen I created myself this morning. I like it because it enable you to move around the 'tiles' but still allow to access everyday activities such as the calendar or your instant messaging. Below are the 3 parts I have broken this video into, including all the necessary files:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Applying Apex and its settings
Here is the link for Apex Launcher Pro, as it comes with a few key features needed for this screen as well as many others:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.anddoes.launcher.pro&hl=en
Key changes here would be changing the 'portrait grid' to 8x9, manage screens should be changed so that there are only 2 screens, 'Wallpaper mode' should be single screen and 'Hide notification bar' should be ticked. Back to the main screen, change your Dock Settings by scrolling down and selecting 'Hide Dock'. Next would be to go back into the main screen, go into advanced settings, and select 'Overlapping Widgets'. Finally change your wallpaper to the one provided in the link below:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/cxlj8of3mlgl9ez/wallpaper-670862.jpg
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding in all the Minimalist Text widgets
This is an amazing app as it has so much hidden potential. Below is the link to download it free from the Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.devmil.minimaltext&hl=en
Simply place 3x2 widgets onto the screen and place and resize accordingly, adding long bars and wide blank bar MT widgets to fill the edges.
I've provided a link below for all the 'skins' seen in the video, simply copy them and paste them into /sdcard/MinimalistTextPreferences . That way Minimalist Text can pick them up. You welcome to use these here, also provided is the fonts Bebas Neue and Helvetica as seen in the video:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/qzqafkoqrn8ymjy/Um4L7j7-FU
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Using the widgets to open apps
Finally we want to make these newly added widgets open applications once tapped. Almost all activities can be started by first selecting 'Start another activity' in the Tap Behaviour section of the Minimalist Text preferences. Once selected, open the 'Select an activity or a shortcut' option, and choose anything your heart desires. If for some reason you can't find what you looking for, or the app simply won't open, you need to use Desktop VisualizeR, as provided in the Google Play Store link below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.bii.android.app.dskvzr&hl=en

Before you start make sure you download the dropbox link file above, as well as the apps above. Copy the SnowTouch folder onto your phone, as this makes things a lot easier.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 1: Apex Settings
In case you missed it in the video, here are the settings once again:
Homescreen Settings
-Portrait Grid: 9x7
-Horizontal Margins: None
-Vertical Margins: None
-Manage Screens: 2 Screens
-Transition Speed: 10
-Transition Type/Effect - None
-Wallpaper Mode: Multiple Screen (scrolling)
-Hide Notification Bar: Enabled
-Hide Icons Labeled: Enabled
-Hide Shadows: Enabled
Dock Settings
-Hide Dock: Enabled
Advanced Settings
-Overlapping Widgets: Enabled
------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding the wallpaper
Once back in the homescreen, go:
Menu - Wallpapers - Live Wallpaper - Multipicture Live Wallpaper
Then Settings - Add individual settings - Add 1 then 2
Then change screen 1 settings - Picture source - Single Picture - Add Screen 1 wall, then repeat for screen 2
Remember to change Crop/Resize Ratio to - Fit to Fullscreen
Change transition type if desired
Go Back - Set wallpaper
------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the UCCW Widgets (Clock and Weather Buttons)
Simply add these by holding down on the homescreen - Widget - UCCW - 5x2 (clock) size. In the main menu after tapping the widget, select "Open uzip", now just find where you pasted the folder and look for the .uzip. After it appears on your homesreen, resize it to the way it looks in the video. Do it for both screens, for both clock and weather. Then do the same for the battery bars
------------------------------------------------------
Part 4: Adding the white icons
These are custom made by GaRyArTs, so of course they look good.
------------------------------------------------------
Part 5: The Pulldown Effect
Such genius. It's simply jumping very quickly from one screen to the next. This is achieved by going to your homescreen - Menu - Add - Apex Actions - Screen 2 (Screen 1 when you on screen 2) tapping this button will make you quickly jump to the next page, provided you have set your transition speed to 10 and transition type to none or card, both in the Apex Settings.

Simply add the UCCW widgets that are provided in the link at the top. This can be done by copying them onto your phone then selecting them when you choose "Open uzip" on the UCCW menu.
The homescreen indicators can be added using desktop visualizer, link below, by first selecting any size DV widget. Tapping the widget will bring up the menu, whereby you can select the homescreen indicators provided in the top link as well as selecting the chosen action as none.
Alternatively you can apply the Apex Actions (holding down on the homescreen) and selctecting Screen 1 and Screen 2. After changing the icon, you can simply tap these to jump to the next screen, mad!

UCCW: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vineetsirohi.customwidget&hl=en
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: The bottom icons
There are a number of ways of doing this, so I'll provide two:
Firstly, for say the app drawer, simply holding down the screen to add the apex menu shortcut "app drawer" and then choosing a blank image will sort out this part.
For the gmail and phone icons, I used Minimalist Text, and just applied the "Static Text" option in a custom layout. I added in a premade MT preferance just to help you out a bit, just paste in the minimalist text preferences folder. Font used is Wendy LP

***You can also you Apex Launcher if you are more comfortable using it***
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: Adding in the "Open App" icons
This part is little different, as SSLauncher is extremely customizable for this part. Hold down the homescreen and choose add shortcut.
To open the app drawer, choose Page in Action Type (or app if you want to open an app) and choose the apps page in the target.
Change your icon to a blank png as provided, and make the background transparent (not the icon BG the shortcut BG).
***Always remember to tap apply settings after each step else it will forget***
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Part 3: Adding the Minimalist Text
I simply used MT here as it does the job quick and simple.
