Subscribe for more! http://goo.gl/oM5A9
In today's sports world Swag matters. These are the facts. You just can't escape player's swag or lack there of. Swag cannot be bought or faked; you either have it or you don't. Just ask any player, it's almost impossible to score a touchdown, make a tackle, complete a pass or make any play without swag.
There are many types of swag. Sometimes you have to ask yourself "Where is my Swag?" Is it in your socks? Is your swag within your dance moves after a celebration? Maybe you're a running back and you might look back at your opponent after a failed tackle attempt. Are you a quarterback that roams out of the pocket to get the first down?
Players are often credited for their off the field swag, always dressing to impress. Trimmed and groomed beards, perfectly lined haircuts, having the most bench press reps and even tattoos!
Whatever your swag is, wherever it comes from, people will take notice. We caught up with some NFL rookies to find out who has the most swag between all the rookies. Who do you believe is the Champion of Swag? -

Jackson has slowly become an iconic figure in the St. Louis area. In 2010, he surpassed Eric Dickerson as the Rams all-time leading rusher. Last year, he rushed for over a thousand years for the seventh straight season.
SJax has been the subject of some trade rumors this off-season. Not to mention, the Rams drafted running back Isaiah Pead in the second round. Through it all, the Vegas native has stayed classy. He finds peace off the field as he is known as a renaissance man. -

How NFL Stars Spent Their 1st Paychecks
by BleacherReport 162,841 views

The NFL rookie took a big hit last year with the latest CBA. Gone are the days of first round draft picks like Sam Bradford making $78 million dollars over six years. Instead, Cam Newton, the first overall pick in 2011 signed with the Panthers for a "measly" $22 million dollars over four years. Poor Cam, he was one year too late for the really, really big money. We have a sneaking suspicion he'll get by along with most other first round draft pick contracts.
Let's keep things in perspective. Most NFL rookies will make more money than any of us will ever dream of. What do they do with it? Do they buy dream cars or houses? Do they take care of their families? What about the bank?
We asked some of the biggest stars of the game both past and present how they spent that first NFL paycheck. Surprises? You'll have to watch the video.

With so much mediocrity, there is not another division in football with so many question marks during the offseason.
Peyton Manning's signing with the Denver Broncos will certainly upgrade that offense, but there is concern over the offensive line tasked with protecting the new franchise quarterback. If he's not upright, the Broncos will struggle and Manning's health will come into question.
In Oakland and Kansas City, it's also about quarterback play. Carson Palmer and Matt Cassel each saw limited action in 2011, for their own separate reasons, but it's their play in 2012 that determines their teams' final standing. It starts at the top, so Palmer and Cassel will be under the magnifying glass next season.
Lastly, the San Diego Chargers have undeniable talent, but it's the orchestration of the players that's under fire. During Norv Turner's reign in San Diego the team has lacked a certain winning consistency, which has been the ultimate downfall of the proud franchise. It's do or die for Norv Turner in 2012.

NFL Rookie Sleepers in 2012
by BleacherReport 17,514 views
When you think of sleeper draft picks, you think later rounds. However, there are some players who were projected to go first round and slipped to maybe the second or third rounds. Sleepers? Perhaps.
Our BR contributors have their list of five sleepers who they think are going to make it surprisingly well in the NFL.
For starters, Marvin Jones, the 5th round pick out of California seems like he may make some noise in the Bengals camp. Cincinnati has had some luck of late, selecting A.J. Green last year with the 4th overall pick and getting rewarded by a Pro Bowl nod. There should be a good fight in Bengals camp this year with Jones and Mohamed Sanu, the 3rd round pick from Rutgers. It seems the results will be positive, as Andy Dalton will have some new and exciting weapons to throw to in 2012.
Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler has to be even more excited than Dalton. First, Chicago reunited Cutler and Brandon Marshall. Next, the Bears were thrilled to see South Carolina's Alshon Jeffery available in the second round with the 45th overall pick. Mike Tice, Chicago's offensive coordinator, said of a recent Jeffery workout, he was "picking peanuts", as in picking balls away from defenders.
Andrew Luck comes to the Colts with his top-notch dependable wide receiver in Reggie Wayne. However, lots of folks are looking at T.Y. Hilton out of Florida International as a sleeper pick, Colts GM Ryan Grigson feels he has a diamond in the rough. He traded up five spots with the 49ers to get the diminutive 5'10" and 183 pound wide receiver. Hilton has done nothing but improve his stock as he ran a 4.34 forty at his pro day. He was projected to go in the 4th or 5th rounds, but Grigson snagged him in the third.
One of the Broncos biggest needs in the draft was at running back. Enter Ronnie Hillman , the versatile back out of San Diego State. The Broncos moved up in the third round by trading with the Browns. Hillman was coached by Snoop Dogg in his youth football days in Long Beach, CA. Enough said.
Anyone nicknamed "The Hammer" has to be feared. Donell "the Hammer" Lewis is one of the biggest hitters in Oklahoma Sooner history. The Lions were thrilled to have him available in the fourth round. The debate with Lewis is whether he'll play outside linebacker or possibly more valuable as an undersized defensive end at 6'2" and 253 pounds.
LaMichael James doesn't exactly define "sleeper". However, the 49ers second round pick can put a huge jolt into a San Francisco offense that desperately needs it. James is a tough a running back as they come. He's only 5'9" and 195 pounds. James grew in a town where gunshots and drug deals were a part of every day life. But this tenacious running back says that growing up in Beverly, Texas made him the player he is today. NFLDraft365 is a production of Bleacher Report Videos. Biggest Questions in the AFC East
by BleacherReport 4,814 views
NFL teams are in full swing on trying to fill holes with undrafted free-agents, looking at waiver wires and checking out vets and rookie battles. Although the Giants won the Super Bowl, they have many holes to fill. As do most NFL teams. That leaves lots of questions.

In the AFC east, questions abound. The biggest one came at the end of March when Mr. Tebow was traded to Gotham. This happening after Mark Sanchez signed a contract extension. No doubt, New Yorkers will be asking questions all season long on this soon to be QB controversy.
Speaking of teams with an abundance of QB's with starting experience, how about South Beach? Some say the job will be handed to rookie Ryan Tannehill, others wonder if he's ready to take the keys away from Matt Moore or veteran David Garrard.
In western New York, Bills fans are wondering what Ryan Fitzpatrick they'll get. And in New England, Patriot fans are wondering if Brandon Lloyd will be the missing piece for the newly coiffed Tom Brady.
Check out the video as Matt Miller has his take on these questions and more in the AFC east.

The NFL's Most Intriguing Rookie vs. Veteran Battles
by BleacherReport 10,533 views
It's been said before, but the NFL stands for the "Not For Long" league. The cold-hard facts justify that nickname. Eighty-five percent of the NFL is turned over in four years. That's right, veterans are not around for long. This time of year, rookies are chomping at the bit, thinking about who's job they can take. Meanwhile, vets are thinking about what they need to do to hold onto their football lives.

We're still over two months away when training camps officially begin. But that hasn't stopped our BR contributors from speculating where the best battles are going to take place around the NFL come July.
Our guys look at Cleveland, Miami, Houston, St. Louis and San Francisco. But battles are going to be waged across the map. In New York, Ahmad Bradshaw says he's going to take the Giants number one pick David Wilson under his wing. Just wait until the heat is turned up in camp. How's about Philly where the back-up to injury prone Michael Vick is always a coveted position. Nick Foles has a good shot at getting the number two slot against Trent Edwards or Mike Kafka. In Chicago, the Bears already have their number one receiver, but will 2nd round draft pick Alshon Jeffery put some heat on incumbent number two, Johnny Knox?
Check out who our guys think is going to win some of these summer battles.

Now, imagine you've spent an eight-year NFL career taking up to 300 painkillers a month. You have surgery after you retire and the doctor only gives you around 30 pills. That's the equivalent of a 300-pound junk food fanatic being satisfied with a teaspoon of ice cream for desert after a salad for dinner.
As a former player, your access to painkillers diminishes. You want and need more. Soon, you get addicted. According to recent studies, 52% of retired NFL players said they used prescription pain medication during their career, and of those, more than 70 percent said they misused the drugs.
Just last year, former NFL quarterback and current Sports Broadcaster, Ray Lucas decided to tackle his addiction to prescription opioid painkillers. Now, Lucas is sharing his story to motivate others to take action against their disease and to help people understand that there are
more options then they may be aware of to treat their disease.

If you are a quarterback, the chances increase greatly that you'll be win top rookie honors. If you're a wide receiver ... not so much. In the past ten years, five QB's have won the award, three running backs and only two wide receivers. Does winning the award automatically guarantee you success in your career? Perhaps. Such players in the past ten years have gone on to have successful careers after winning top rookie honors: Ben Roethlisberger (2004), Adrian Peterson (2007), and Matt Ryan (2008). The verdict is out on such players as "Cadillac"Williams (2005), Percy Harvin (2009) or Sam Bradford (2010). It seems like last year's top rookie, Cam Newton, is well on his way to having a great NFL career.
Check out our Bleacher Report contributors to see who they think will win the 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Spoiler alert, the number one overall pick is not on our list of who's going to win.

NFC East Report Card for 2012 NFL Draft

The NFC East is home to the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. As the league champ, you customarily get the last pick in the first round. By the time the Giants were on the clock, there were several Tight Ends available and lots of Running Backs to help the team that finished last in the NFL in rushing. A head scratcher for a Tom Coughlin led team. The Giants chose Virginia Tech's David Wilson to help bolster their running game.
The NFC East also has a team owned by Daniel Snyder. You see Snyder and the Redskins have been searching for a starting QB since Mark Rypien led them to a Super Bowl win in 1991. As a Redskin fan, you'll undoubtedly remember names like Heath Schuler, Gus Frerotte, Jeff George, Danny Wuerffel and more recently Donovan McNabb and Rex Grossman.
The savior may have arrived for Redskin fans in the name of Robert Griffin III. By all counts, he is the real deal.
The NFC East also has what some still call "America's Team". The Cowboys definitely had holes to fill on both sides of the ball. But when it came down to major breakdowns, the secondary was usually the culprit. Enter LSU's Morris Claiborne and now Cowboys fans are talking the next coming of Deion Sanders.
Vince Young's "Dream Team", the Philadelphia Eagles were headed to the Super Bowl in training camp last year. Then the regular season began it became apparent they needed big help on the defensive side of the ball. Many believe the Eagles had one of the best drafts taking Mississippi State's Fletcher Cox with the 12th overall pick and then coming back with Cal's Mychal Kendricks in the second round.
So what are the grades for these NFC East teams? Check out Matt Miller's report card watching the video.

How Does it Feel to Play With a Concussion: Ray Lucas Former Jets QB

Many believe that the suicidal and depressive tendencies exhibited by Seau were a direct result of head injuries incurred over his NFL career.
Eerily, the way Seau took his life is the same way former Chicago Bears Dave Duerson did. Duerson, like Seau, shot himself in the chest. The only difference was the former Bear left a note stating he shot himself in the chest so his brain could be studied for his deteriorating mental condition.
Researchers determined that Duerson suffered from an impact-induced disease called Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy -- a condition that autopsies have shown afflicted about two dozen former NFL players.
It's still unknown that football and head injuries had anything to do with Seau's death. However, a former teammate of Seau's, Gary Plummer estimated that Seau had up to 1,500 concussions in his 20-year NFL career. That's about five concussions a game!
Veteran NFL quarterback, and concussion sufferer, Ray Lucas sat down with NFLDraft365 to discuss the topic and share his own experiences with head injuries.

New York Jets Former QB Questions Quinton Coples Pick in NFL Draft
by BleacherReport 2,902 views
Entering the 2012 draft, most Jets fans were looking for offensive line, running back or receiving help. Instead, Mike Tannenbaum and company surprised many with Quinton Coples in the first round. Yes, Coples can succeed in the NFL. But he scared a lot of teams as he had a tremendous drop off in his last season at North Carolina. Rex Ryan excused the non-production with a lack of coaching and positions changes.
Will Coples succeed? Ray Lucas, former Jets quarterback and current analyst for the team, thinks he has to. He says if Coples fails, then the 2012 draft for the Jets is a failure.

Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees & NFL Stars to Rookies: Keep Eyes Wide Open

Imagine being an NFL rookie and you get advice from a current or future hall of famer? Think where Ryan Leaf or JaMarcus Russell's careers may have gone if someone pulled them aside and told them to control their emotions or work hard.
Well, it may not have helped, but it couldn't have hurt.
We asked several Pro Bowl stars and NFL legends what advice they'd give to the 2012 rookie class coming in. These are NFL stars that learned the hard way. They partied hard, were impatient sitting behind veterans, put too much pressure on themselves and thought they knew it all. Hey, rookie NFL class of 2012. We are giving you your chance to get some sound advice from such stars as Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Arian Foster and the legendary Jim Brown.

NFL Draft 2012: Biggest Losers
by BleacherReport 12,956 views
No one really knows how a draft turns out until two or three years down the road. However, the NFL has become a "win-now" league and there's literally no time for rebuilding programs. There's too much at stake to create a long-term rebuilding process like teams did back in the day.
Bleacher Report asked four of our contributors to take a look at the teams they thought were the worst in the draft.
When a team like the Jacksonville Jaguars ranked 29th in points scored and last in passing and receiving yards, takes a punter in the third round, eyebrows have to be raised.
What about the 49ers? If you are getting a receiver in the first round at pick number 30, players like Brian Quick, Stephen Hill, Alshon Jeffery or Reuben Randle would roll off the tongue. But Illinois WR A.J. Jenkins?
Did the Seahawks make a huge reach when they selected linebacker Bruce Irvin 15th overall? Some say yes. After all, Irvin has one strength, and a good one, that's eating up Quarterbacks. But the Seahawks could have traded down to get the West Virginia linebacker.
Finally, the Denver Broncos made the most noise this off-season with the signing of Peyton Manning. You'd think they'd get some weapons for him in the draft. Instead they selected Cincinnati's DT Derek Wolfe. If they were going that route, Michigan State's Jerel Worthy was available. John Elway showed his love for Brock Osweiler in the 2nd round as Peyton Manning's understudy. As a very best case, this will be an Aaron Rodgers-Brett Favre situation. At worse, it could be a colossal mistake. Michigan State's Kirk Cousins would have been the much safer bet here.

2013 Mock NFL Draft: Top 10 Picks

The 2012 NFL Draft's dust is barely settling. Fans are trying to figure out if their new rookies are saviors or busts. On paper, hope springs eternal for all NFL fans as they have new life, new blood and new chances of being a winning team and possibly bringing the Vince Lombardi trophy home in 2012.
But, if you are looking ahead to 2013, fear not. We have what ails you. Matt Miller makes the assumption that all of the teams this year will have the same picks as next year. But, if you're a Colts, Rams or Redskins fan, that's not necessarily a good thing. It means you failed to make the playoffs once again.
At the top of next year's draft defense is strong. Texas Longhorns linebacker Jackson Jeffcoat Jackson leads the top of the crop. Some other key defensive players to look out for Longhorns DE Alex Okafor, Georgia's linebacker Jarvis Jones and Notre Dame's linebacker Manti Te'o.
We know the Rams are going to be big players in the 2013 NFL draft as they received many picks from the Redskins including some first round love. If Steven Jackson's tread on his tires continues to wear, Rams fans should follow South Carolina's running back Marcus Lattimore.
Not unlike the class of 2012 with Luck & RGIII, the class of 2013 has many interesting quarterback prospects, led by USC's Matt Barkely.

Vontaze Burfict and Other Suprises of the 2012 NFL Draft
by BleacherReport 5,377 views
The biggest surprises of the entire 2012 NFL Draft came by way of three undrafted players, quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Chris Polk and linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
All three had different reasons for not being selected, Moore coming under criticism for his arm strength, Burfict for his mercurial temperament and Polk because of injury concerns.
Washington made a splash, in a strange manner, by selecting Kirk Cousins in the fourth round after already taking Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 Overall Pick. Quite surprising, considering there were several other needs the Redskins need to fill.

NFL Draft 2012: The Jaguars Pick and other Biggest Surprises of Round Three
by BleacherReport 2,794 views
The Houston Texans selected guard Brandon Brooks from Miami (OH) to sure up the offensive line, but due to his stature, the pick seems surprising for a few reasons. First of all, Brooks weighs 343-pounds, making him too heavy to block in the Texans' zone scheme. It's also a strange pick considering he was taken roughly 40 picks sooner than many thought.
Another rough season in Jacksonville exposed just how many holes the Jaguars have up and down a roster, thus selecting a punter, Bryan Anger from the University of California, in the third round was shocking to say the least. Jacksonville should have looked at bolstering the offensive line or strengthening the safety position.
When Miami running back Lamar Miller wasn't selected in the first round, it created some pause, but not shock. After no team selected him in the second round, it was surprising, and now with three rounds complete and Miller still available, it's a head scratcher.
Find out why from Matt Miller, along with more opinion on the biggest surprises in round three.

Many rank Brockers as a hair below Fletcher Cox of Mississippi State as the best DT in the draft. Brockers stock is rising as he can offer NFL teams some great flexibility in the 3-4 or 4-3 schemes. Brockers says he's a huge Cowboys fan and would be thrilled to wear the star.

A remedy is needed to make the televised draft more enjoyable for fans and Matt Miller is here to debate Aaron Nagler on the manner in which to make that happen.
Miller and Nagler discuss creating more surprise with each pick and better coverage of the later rounds along with other adjustments that must be made for a more consumable fan experience.

For potential top-ten pick Ryan Tannehill, that included a quick stop at the Adidas store in New York City for a few last second wardrobe additions and changes.
Tannehill was joined by his wife Lauren for their shopping foray, the better half of the Tannehill pairing acting as his fashion consultant.
A funny thing happened while Tannehill perused the midtown store - he met up with Heisman Winner, Robert Griffin III, who was in the midst of making a few purchases himself.
Griffin was likely looking for some burgundy and gold clad clothes, representing his likely future home of the Washington Redskins. As for, Tannehill, no word on whether he bought items with the brown and orange of the Browns or the tangerine and teal of the Dolphins.

2012 NFL Draft Can't Miss Prospects: NFL Draft 365 ep.11
by BleacherReport 22,903 views

Not only is a franchise's financial stability at stake, so too are wins and losses. Risk typically isn't rewarded, so general managers and coaches must be shrewd in selecting the next piece of their team's puzzle.
So, when there are low-risk, "can't miss" players available on the board, teams must take advantage.
In 2012, the likes of Matt Kalil, Morris Claiborne and Andrew Luck are as close to guarantees as an NFL franchise can draft and arguably day one starters.
On this episode of The Rush, find out why teams should select these players and more, while avoiding draft pitfalls.

Nicknamed the "Showplace of the Nation" Radio City Music Hall will certainly showcase some of the NFL's biggest talent in just under three days.
Today, Miller debunks some of the myths that are festering within the NFL Draft discussion and are patently false.
One of those myths is the status of Alabama's Trent Richardson as legitimate top-five pick. Recent trends skew away from selecting a running back so high, but Richardson is a big time NFL prospect, worthy of an early first round selection.
Additionally, Justin Blackmon has garnered the lion's share of attention as 2012's best wide receiver, but not so fast. There's another receiver Miller believes will be selected before Blackmon.
Who is that receiver? And, what are the other three myths that Miller sheds light on before Thursday? Get the answers on this episode of NFLDraft365.

2012 NFL Draft Prospects With Red Flags: NFL Draft 365

One of the most interesting case studies is Ryan Leaf. Considered by many to be the biggest draft bust in sports history. Not just he NFL, but all of sports. Wow.
Back in 1998, the nation was swept up in a debate about Ryan Leaf or Peyton Manning going number one. Imagine if the internet was prominent back then!
As fate would have it, Peyton Manning was selected number one and Leaf was the second overall pick by the Chargers. Yes, there were warning signs for Leaf. Not big ones, but they were there. The Colts held a pre-draft interview for both players. Manning excelled. Leaf was a no-show. Manning showed maturity. Leaf didn't. Some folks thought Manning had a much better arm.
Leaf played in the NFL for four seasons for four different teams. His locker room tantrums are legendary. So his police record as he currently faces burglary, theft and drug charges in his hometown of Great Falls, MT.
Meanwhile, Peyton Manning is on his way to the Hall of Fame and possibly another Super Bowl run with the Denver Broncos.
So, what 2012 NFL draft prospects have red flags? Our Bleacher Report team has some ideas.

Just four days away from Roger Goodell's welcoming address at Radio City Music Hall and a handful of draft questions still loom large.
The biggest of these surrounds the status of Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Aside from RGIII and Andrew Luck, nobody's draft stock is hotter at the moment. But, which team will take the Tannehill gamble?
In terms of Robert Griffin III, he was the impetus of the blockbuster trade between the Rams and Redskins in which Washington mortgaged the future for the chance at drafting the dynamic signal caller. This leaves one wondering who will make the next draft trade? Draft expert Matt Miller is looking to the Eagles or the Patriots to make a splash.
What are the other three pressing questions for the 2012 NFL Draft? Miller checks in with NFLDraft365 to let us know.

When you talk with RGIII, you keep telling yourself, 'this guy really gets it'. Bleacher Report caught up with the omnipresent Baylor, soon to be Skins QB, in Portland, Oregon where he was striking poses as Adidas's new star athlete. Not only does Griffin get how to deal with the media, his marketing agency CAA Sports gets how to market this star.
In addition to Adidas, Griffin has signed lucrative deals with EA Sports, Castrol Oil and SUBWAY. We get the idea there are plenty lined up to have Griffin sign on with them.
Despite the clamor about RGIII vs. Andrew Luck, the media hype about the Heisman and the big endorsement deals, it's very clear that Griffin has stayed grounded.

Come draft day, the biggest Quarterback mystery is former Texas A&M hurler Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphins seem to be the front-runners for now. Having lost out in the Peyton Manning, Alex Smith and Matt Flynn sweepstakes, Miami is in desperate need to show their fans they are serious about replacing Dan Marino, once and for all. If the new Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman has a say in it, he'd like his former Texas A&M star to bring his talents to South Beach.
Bleacher Report's Matt Miller takes you through the possible scenarios where Ryan Tannehill will end up playing. There could be some surprises, as there always seems to be on Draft day.

It's the most wonderful time of the year ... draft time. It's a time when all the experts make predictions and no one really knows who's right or wrong. We guess who's going where, when and who's stock is rising and falling.
Sometimes, players take things into their own hands and just flat out ruin their stock. For example, Orson Charles, the Tight End for Georgia was riding high on everyone's draft boards. Giants fans were drooling over this massive specimen and how he had a second gear to out run linebackers. He was targeted as a late first round pick. But everything changed in a couple of heartbeats as Charles ran in the high fours in his pro day. Less than a week later, the Georgia Tight End made headlines again by getting a DUI. Yes, Orson Charles killed his draft stock., in a methodic and sad way.
Does messing up off the field and at workouts have a bearing on how a player succeeds in the NFL? Time can only answer that question. In the meantime, our Bleacher Report NFL crew takes a look at what players in the 2012 NFL have no one to blame but themselves at killing their draft stock.

Remember that magical three-year span from 1999 through 2001? If you're a St. Louis Rams fan, that may seem like an eternity. It was three years that the "Greatest Show on Turf" ruled the NFL universe, producing three league MVP's (Faulk, Warner twice) and a Super Bowl win in 2000.
By the time Rams running back Steven Jackson was drafted 24th overall in the 2004 draft, the "Greatest Show on Turf" was aging and St. Louis has not made the playoffs since 2005. It's been a long dry road for Jackson and the Rams.
However, hope springs eternal for the Rams all-time leading rusher. Jackson, at 28, believes the Rams can win now if they surround third year QB Sam Bradford with some weapons.
Steven Jackson shows his candor with Bleacher Report, telling us who the Rams should pick with the sixth overall pick.

The most intriguing quarterback story in the 2012 NFL Draft doesn't surround Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III. It's all about the draft's newest darling, Ryan Tannehill, who has sparked extensive discussion and intrigue over the past month or so.

Tannehill himself sits down with Bleacher Report's NFLDraft365 for an exclusive interview to discuss his future in the NFL.
Spoiler alert: Tannehill gives you the fan a self-scouting report, in which he breaks down his ability to throw from the pocket, elude rushers and throw effortlessly on the run.

Biggest NFL Draft Busts the Last 10 Years: NFL Draft 365 ep.10
by BleacherReport 58,692 views
When it comes to NFL draft busts, the usual names come up like Ryan Leaf, Tony Mandarich, Ki-Jana Carter or the "Boz". If you look at worst years for draft busts, there's no doubt 1999 was "Not the Year of the QB'. Tim Couch got the ball rolling as he was the number one overall pick by the Cleveland Browns. Also available in the first round for the Browns in '99 was Donovan McNabb, Edgerin James, Torry Holt and Champ Bailey. But the Browns are indeed the Browns. The big question, what will they do with their 4th overall pick in 2012? For Cleveland's sake, hopefully they won't be partying like it's 1999.
But Cleveland was not alone in 1999. The Bungles, err, Bengals selected Akili Smith with the 3rd overall pick. Da Bears took the forgettable Cade McNown with the 12th overall pick.
We asked our Bleacher Report staff to come up with their top five NFL draft busts in the last 10 years or since 2002. Yes, we limited the list to only five. We can tell you that our guys did not get to Joey Harrington, DeWayne Robertson, Mike Williams or Brady Quinn. We're sure you have lots more too.

NFL Teams That Should Make Draft Day Trades: NFL Draft 365 ep.10
by BleacherReport 8,173 views
The Redskins and Rams already delivered arguably the biggest draft related trade in history, paving the way for the Redskins to select Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2012 draft. But, that doesn't mean all is quiet on the trade front.
Three teams, the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and Cincinnati Bengals possess a glut of draft picks, especially early on and are extremely likely contenders to leverage those selections in order to obtain a higher pick.
All three teams got those extra picks through trading away NFL talent or selections in previous years, i.e. the Rams trade with the Redskins and the Bengals dealing of Carson Palmer to Oakland.
Meanwhile, two franchises in need of more picks this year and into the future may be active as well. The Cleveland Browns might trade away from No. 4 in order to get a later first round pick and other selections to create depth on the roster. The same goes for the Minnesota Vikings, who are sure to be offered tons of assets from another team for their No. 3 overall pick. Teams are clamoring for Ryan Tannehill, and being positioned at No. 3 might be the only opportunity to land him.
Find out more as Matt Miller breaks down possible trade scenarios for the 2012 Draft.

Mario Williams on being #1 Draft Pick, RGIII & the Buffalo Bills: NFL Draft 365 ep.10
by BleacherReport 5,302 views
The big question in 2012 has been Luck or RGIII? Rewind six years ago. The 2006 NFL Draft had people asking if Mario Williams was the right pick for the Houston Texans at number one. After all, former Heisman winner Reggie Bush and Vince Young were waiting in the wings at the time.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and there's no doubt the Texans made the right pick with Mario Williams. Williams has been a two-time All-Pro Defensive End and just recently signed the most lucrative free-agent contract by a defensive player in the NFL. The Bills gain is undoubtedly the Texans loss.
With the acquisition of Williams, the Bills can now focus their draft efforts on the offensive line to help protect their newly re-signed quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Bears, Eagles, Cowboys, Chiefs & Chargers Draft Strategies: NFL Draft 365 ep.10
by BleacherReport 5,367 views
NFL teams that fail to make the playoffs leave their fans disappointed and frustrated, but according to Bleacher Report Draft Expert Matt Miller, there are a handful of clubs that will reverse their postseason fortunes through key additions at the 2012 NFL Draft.
This year, Big "D" stands for defense as the Cowboyslook to bolster a weak secondary. There is a lot depth at defensive back in the first two rounds of this draft, and the Cowboys can sure up a suspect defense by selecting a player like Alfonzo Dennard, Casey Hayward or Mark Barron.
To say that last year was a disappointment for the Eagles is a gross understatement. However, the Eagles resigned several key players, including DeSean Jackson and will looking to add another receiver in the draft, along with a backup for Michael Vick. With just a few key tweaks and additions, the Eagles should be in place to once again ascend to the top of the NFC.
Several other franchises will look for a bit of draft magic at the end of April. So which other fan bases should take courage in their teams' postseason prospects for next year after the draft? Matt Miller gives you the lowdown.

High Risk, High Reward 2012 NFL Draft Picks: NFL Draft 365 ep.9 3 of 4
by BleacherReport 13,571 views
When NFL General Mangers, Presidents and Coaches assemble in their respective war rooms, it's as if they're bellying up to the blackjack table at a casino, risking money and future success on draftees.
That goes for any player being drafted, but some players are even riskier and can cost franchises dearly. On the other hand, if a team is willing to go "all in" on a risky athlete, it could earn them the jackpot.
That's the subject of this week's Rush Segment from NFLDraft365 as Matt Miller, Dylan MacNamara, Evan Adrian and Ryan O'Leary discuss the merits of drafting some of the riskier picks in the year's draft crop.
See what they have to say about the likes of Janoris Jenkins, Dontari Poe, Quinton Coples and Alshon Jeffery.

Charlie Batch Ranks the Top 5 QB's in 2012 NFL Draft: NFL Draft 365 ep.9 3 of 4
by BleacherReport 9,652 views
Is this the year of the QB in the NFL draft? If you look at the top, there's no
denying that Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are stealing most of the headlines.
However, there are many other QB's that will make noise in the 2012 Draft.
Long-time Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch joins NFLDraft365, ranking his top five signal
callers. Yes, you know one and two, but Batch really likes Ryan Tannehill.
The Texas A&M quarterback is causing most of the stir lately. Will the Dolphins take
him at number eight? Or, will Cleveland make a move at number four? Tannehill
has a lot of teams drooling and thinking trade.
This draft also has a 28 year-old quarterback in Brandon Weeden. Is he too old for
a rebuilding team to take? Or will a team on the cusp of the playoffs roll the dice on the
former minor league pitcher?
Rounding out Batch's top five is Michigan State's Kirk Cousins. Batch has seen a lot of
Cousins and thinks any NFL team will be lucky to get him.
Get an NFL quarterback's take on the men set to be the future of the position in this week's episode.

Brandon Weeden on Leadership, Age, Baseball and his Talent as NFL QB
by BleacherReport 1,823 views
A 28-year-old NFL rookie Quarterback? It's happened before. Chris Weinke, the oldest player ever to win the Heisman Award at 28, was a fourth round draft pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2001.
Now Brandon Weeden is looking to not only repeat history, but also better it. The 28-year-old Oklahoma State Quarterback is hoping he'll catch a team's attention much earlier in the draft than Chris Weinke.
Like Weinke, Weeden has professional baseball experience. Weeden was the first player chosen in the 2002 Major League Baseball draft by the New York Yankees and was later traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The All-Big 12 first-team Is OSU's first all-league quarterback since the 1930s and was a finalist for the Manning Award.
Now Brandon Weeden feels he can bring leadership, talent and experience immediately to an NFL team.

by BleacherReport 7,499 views
If you're Andrew Luck or Robert Griffin III, two things are guaranteed. First, you'll be one of the top two draft picks in the 2012 NFL Draft, and second, you're likely going to take some lumps during your first season as a starting quarterback.
But, for other top-ten draft picks, making an instant impact is a real, tangible possibility - and that's the topic of this week's "Rush" segment on NFLDraft365.
The guys take a look at other notable draft prospects that will have a better rookie season than Luck and RGIII.
Guys like Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden, Morris Claiborne and Nick Perry are all poised for big-time success in 2012.

Kurt Warner on Being Undrafted, RGIII, Luck, Newton & More: NFL Draft 365 Ep.8 3of4
by BleacherReport 5,058 views
"Some guys like us slip through the cracks...but when we got here, we showed people we could do it," says Kurt Warner regarding undrafted free agents.
Warner should know. After graduating in from Northern Iowa in 1994, Warner trudged through the Arena Football League and NFL Europe before gaining the attention of St. Louis Rams execs in 1998.
And, of course, the rest became history. Warner, a two-time First Team All-Pro during his career, led the Rams to a Super Bowl championship in 1999.
So when he speaks to the topic of being undrafted, his words carry great weight.
He says that most teams select or don't select players based on previous history and the combine, leaving some players out in the cold.
Warner's wisdom is also extended to the guys that will be chosen very early in the draft. So, what does Warner predict for Andrew Luck and RGIII's future? Watch the entire interview to get his take.

New NFL Nike Uniforms: Larry Fitzgerald, Champ Bailey, Ben Roethlisberger & More!
by BleacherReport 60,251 views
They did not exactly walk down the cat-walk, but they could have. Thirty two NFL players showed off Nike's new uniforms in Brooklyn, NY yesterday.
From a distance, the uniforms didn't look too different. The Seattle Seahawks made the most changes with pops of lime green trim and more emphasis on the Pacific Northwest's native American heritage.
Denver also went a little old school as they switched from navy to orange, bringing back the days of the "Orange Crush".
After more than a decade of providing jerseys to the NFL , Reebok has given way to Nike. While none of the new uniforms reminded NFL players of the flashy Oregon Ducks, most players thought the new look was a refreshing change.
It seems like the player's favorite part of the new look are the gloves. When players now create a diamond with their hands, the team's logo is in your face. This should make for some interesting taunting and celebrations in 2012.
Check out what NFL stars like Ben Roethlisberger, Larry Fitzgerald, Champ Bailey and many others have to say about the new Nike look.

2012 Mock Draft 2nd Round Highlights: NFL Draft 365 Ep.8 2 of 4
by BleacherReport 13,008 views
After serious dissection of the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Matt Miller dots the second round landscape with some of the most important selections likely to be made.
With Jim Irsay divulging that the Colts could now be interested in taking RGIII, confusion surrounds the No. 1 overall pick, but not Indianapolis' second round choice. Miller says that University of Washington Running Back Chris Polk could provide some depth and power running to the Colts franchise.
Kirk Cousins, the talented quarterback from Michigan State, looks to be a great candidate to serve as Michael Vick's backup in Philadelphia, according to Miller. Look for the Eagles to select Cousins with the 46th pick in the second round.
Other second round notables look to be Brandon Weeden, Doug Martin, David Wilson and many more. Stay tuned and discover how the entire round figures to shake down.

Arian Foster to NCAA: Pay College Football Players NFL Draft 365: Ep.8 1 of 4
by BleacherReport 14,107 views
If you put a microphone in front of Houston Texans running back Arian Foster, don't expect a pedestrian answer.
The outspoken and forthright Foster opens up about his true feelings toward the NCAA.
Spoiler alert, he has very strong feelings regarding the NCAA's treatment of scholar-athletes. Much of his frustration centers on the issue of payment and compensation, believing that athletes should be taken care of in a more equitable fashion.
Foster finished his remarkable collegiate career in 2008 as Tennessee's second all-time leading rusher (2,964 yards), and though it's been four years since he's stepped on campus, he remains opinionated and passionate about the debate over paying college athletes.
Watch as Arian Foster divulges his true sentiments toward the NCAA and college football's treatment of student-athletes.

Ron Jaworski & Todd McShay Talk RGIII, Luck & Manning: NFL Draft 365 ep.7 4 of 4
by BleacherReport 4,432 views
Ron Jaworski is one of the most popular and knowledgeable analysts covering the NFL today. Since joining ESPN in 1990, the former standout NFL quarterback has covered the league from virtually every angle -- sideline reporter, game-site reporter, host and both studio and game analyst, including a five-year stint on Monday Night Football from 2007-2011.
Todd McShay joined ESPN in 2006 as a football analyst, providing in-depth scouting information on college football players across the country, including the nation's top NFL Draft prospects.
We caught up with this dynamic duo in Waco, Texas at the Baylor pro day. Ron Jaworski loves breaking down QB's and thinks unequivocally Andrew Luck will be the number one pick and RGIII will go to the Redskins at number two. He also tells Bleacher Report that the entire city of Denver will be improved by Peyton Manning being there.
Did the Redskins mortgage their future trading for RGIII? McShay thinks so, but quickly points out that it was something the Redskins had to do. The NFL draft analyst also says that with few exceptions (Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson), teams just don't win Super Bowls with mediocre quarterbacks. -

Arian Foster Takes Randy Moss in WR Debate: NFL Draft 365 Ep 07. 3 of 4
by BleacherReport 5,634 views
This year's Wide Receiver draft class isn't as deep as in years past. Make no mistake, there's some projected first-rounders like Justin Blackmon, Kendall Wright and Michael Floyd.
But the 2012 Wide Receiver free-agent class is one of the deepest in years. Most of the big names are signed, sealed and delivered. Mike Wallace of the Steelers surprisingly is one of the only big names still unsigned.
The 49ers made a huge splash by signing Super Bowl hero Mario Manningham and the 35 year- old Randy Moss can get a new lease on his NFL life. The Niners also took care of business by signing Alex Smith to throw to the revamped San Francisco wide receiving corps.
Tampa Bay also filled a huge need with the signing of former Chargers star Vincent Jackson, inking him to a five year, $55.5 million contract.
Tom Brady is licking his chops at the prospect of throwing to Brandon Lloyd. Between the two tight ends and Wes Welker, Brady should have another record setting season.
Now that these NFL teams have helped themselves via free-agency route, which free-agent signing will have the greatest impact on his new team? Check out our experts, including Arian Foster's take!

NFL Draft Stock Up & Stock Down: NFL Draft 365 ep7 2 of 4
by BleacherReport 6,638 views
Market trends can change in an instant. One day a stock is the hottest commodity, then it comes crashing down without notice. So too is the world of NFL Draft player rankings.
NFLDraft365 gives in an inside look at which potential draftees have increased their stock after the NFL Combine and Pro Days and which players have work to do before the end of April.
According to Draft Analyst Matt Miller, three players: Wisconsin wide receiver Nick Toon, Michigan State quarterback Kirk Cousins and Washington running back Chis Polk have all increased their status on the big board.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the likes of Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict, Alabama cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick or Marshall defensive end Vinny Curry. All three players are sliding down the draft board and likely to be selected long after they originally thought.

Arian Foster: Madden 2013 Cover NYC Street Campaign NFL Draft 365 ep7 1 of 4
by BleacherReport 33,455 views
Fresh off another stellar NFL campaign with the Houston Texans, Arian Foster runs the streets of New York City to ask fans about the vaunted "Madden Curse".
Foster interviewed everyday New Yorkers to see if they believe in the Madden Curse -- the belief that a player will either get injured or have a disappointing season after being chosen as the game's cover.
Currently, Foster is part of the 32 remaining NFL players pitted against each other in a bracket-style competition to see who will be featured.
It's fitting that Arian Foster is in New York as he faces Tim Tebow, the Big Apple's newest start, in the first round of fan voting.
Not sure if he can defeat Tebowmania, but Foster is lobbying hard, just watch the video.
In 2011, Foster gained over 1,800 all-purpose yards and 12 touchdowns, being named to the pro bowl in the process. It also marked the first season the Texans made the playoffs in franchise history.

Ray Rice, Devin McCourty & Rutgers Alumni: NFL Draft 365 ep.6 4 of 4
by BleacherReport 3,498 views
When you think of college football powerhouses with great tradition, who comes to mind? For starters, you have to mention USC, Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Alabama. The list goes on.
But, you'd be hard-pressed to come up with the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers in this conversation. When it comes to tradition, only one other team can claim that they played in the very first intercollegiate football game back in 1869. Yes, Rutgers defeated Princeton by the score 6-4.
Fast forward to 2005, as head coach Gary Schiano led Rutgers to their first winning season since 1992, bringing the program to instant credibility.
The Scarlet Knights have had consecutive winning seasons ever since 2011 and have had a solid representation in the draft the last few years. Since 2009, they've had three players taken in the first round, Anthony Davis (49ers), Devin McCourty (Patriots) and Kenny Britt (Titans).
NFL Draft 365 caught up with some well-known Rutgers alumni including Ray Rice (2nd round), Brian Leonard (2nd Round) and Devin McCourty (1st Round).

Stanford Pro Day: Recapping Andrew Luck, Jonathan Martin, and Coby Fleener's Performances
by BleacherReport 3,294 views
Two storylines emerged from Stanford's much-anticipated pro day held on Wednesday afternoon at Elliott Field in Palo Alto.
First, despite poor weather conditions, Andrew Luck had a very successful throwing day, completing 46 of 50 passes, including a 70-yard pass to end the day.
Passing was the final hurdle for Luck who elected not to throw at the NFL Combine in February. Luck passed today's test with flying colors, showing exactly why he's been so revered by NFL Scouts.
Also jumping out for those in attendance was the skill level of Stanford's three additional potential first round picks. Tight end Coby Fleener ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash to cement his status as a first round pick, while offensive linemen David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin also impressed.
With the last big pro day in the books, just five weeks remain until the 2012 NFL Draft, when the real excitement kicks off.

Andrew Luck Pro Day: Breaking Down Stanford QB's Workout
by BleacherReport 4,610 views
Andrew Luck connected on 46 of 50 throws at Stanford's Pro Day today, putting on a passing display for the 150-plus media outlets assembled to watch his last throwing session as a collegian.
And, he saved the best for last.
Luck's last pass traveled 70-yards into the wind -- proving that he has the arm strength of a quarterback expected to be taken first overall. That, in combination with his offensive mastery, make him a sure-fire first selection.
With Peyton Manning now donned in Bronco orange and blue, the stage is set for the Indianapolis Colts to select Luck -- a Heisman Finalist in each of his last two years at Stanford.
Luck finished his collegiate career at Stanford with 9,430 yards passing and 82 touchdowns.

Stanford Pro Day: Coby Fleener Impresses During Workout
by BleacherReport 3,569 views
Over 150 media credentials were issued by the Stanford Athletic Department for today's pro day.
It's safe to assume that the press gathered to witness quarterback Andrew Luck, but his primary target, tight end Coby Fleener is taking advantage of this momentous occasion.
In front of the throng of media, Fleener ran a 4.45-second 40-yard dash in Palo Alto on Thursday afternoon after not participating in the event at the NFL Combine in February.
His quick 40-time should guarantee Fleener's status as a late first round pick, with the tight end definitely off the board by the second round.
Fleener served as an integral piece of the Cardinal passing game in 2011, catching 34 balls for 667 yards and 10 touchdowns as a tight end.

Andrew Luck's Final Dress Rehearsal: Stanford Pro Day
by BleacherReport 1,440 views
Though pro days are often downplayed, the media spotlight will shine too bright for Stanford's workout to be ignored or lessened.
Stanford Pro Day marks the final step in Andrew Luck's lengthy vetting process for the No. 1 overall pick in April's NFL Draft.
Like Baylor's Robert Griffin III, Luck chose not to throw at the NFL Combine and will show off his arm today in front of NFL coaches and scouts. Barring a major (and unforeseen) setback during the proceedings, Luck will put the final touches on a successful college career and solidify himself as the top pick in the 2012 Draft.
To be expected, Luck's star overshadows three other big name Cardinals with major draft aspirations.
Tight end Coby Fleener, who caught 34 passes for 667 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2011 will be on display along with offensive linemen David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin.
There is a possibility that all three could join Luck as first round draft picks, and if not, they'll be off the board by the end of the second round.
Also set to workout are Chris Owusu, Delano Howell, Griff Whalen and Michael Thomas.

Tim-sanity: Reactions To Tim Tebow Jets Trade
by BleacherReport 1,558 views
Move over Linsanity, here comes Tebowmania. That's right, the Denver Broncos have reportedly sent Tim Tebow's bags packing to the city that never sleeps.
In exchange, the Jets sent fourth and sixth round draft picks.
As the blogosphere and talk radio explode in Gotham, the quarterback controversy for Mark Sanchez begins anew as Tebow is added to the Jets roster.
With Rex Ryan as their leader, players throwing each other under the bus and now Tebowmania, one has to ask how the J-E-T-S will stay out of the New York tabloids on a daily basis.
HBO's "Hard Knocks" should be on the Met Life Stadium doorstep begging for the Jets to sign up for another season. The drama, the personalities, the tension and the overall circus can possibly be center stage in New York. -

Robert Griffin III: The Final Delivery at Baylor Pro Day
by BleacherReport 6,146 views
Baylor's Allison Indoor Practice Facility was hushed in silence Wednesday afternoon as Heisman Trophy Winner Robert Griffin III served as the final act of the Bears Pro Day in Waco.
NFL general managers, scouts and coaches keenly observed RGIII's much anticipated throwing session -- the missing ingredient from his pre-draft vetting process.
Griffin opted not to throw at the NFL Combine, preferring to show off his arm in a controlled situation, i.e. Wednesday's pro day on campus. Today, Griffin's throwing session was a bit pedestrian, yet successful.
Of special note, Redskins Head Coach Mike Shanahan seemed to be the most involved observer of all NFL onlookers. That's to be expected following Washington's blockbuster acquisition of the St. Louis Rams No. 2 pick in the upcoming draft.
After Baylor Pro Day it appears that all systems are "go" for RGIII to be selected second overall this April.

Baylor Pro Day: Kendall Wright's Stock Way Up
by BleacherReport 2,361 views
Baylor wide-out Kendall Wright ran a 4.46 and 4.41 (both unofficial) 40-yard dash at Baylor Pro Day this afternoon, entering the day determined to make detractors forget his sub-par NFL Combine performance in February.
In Indianapolis, Wright's best time was just 4.61-seconds, leaving scouts and analysts concerned about his status as a first-round worthy wide receiver.
He received an overall grade of 88.5 at the combine, a knock on his elite status, especially when compared to Justin Blackmon's and Michael Floyd's higher overall grading after the test event.
The 4.46-second performance should go a long way in establishing Wright as a late first round pick with likely destination in Cleveland at pick No. 22 in the draft.
Wright earned All American honors in 2011 with 108 catches, 1663 yards and 14 touchdowns and finished his career as the most prolific wide receiver in Baylor history.

Baylor Pro Day: WIll Robert Griffin III Move Ahead of Andrew Luck?
by BleacherReport 6,349 views
Media outlets across the country are assembled in Waco at Baylor Pro Day for one reason, and one reason only.
Robert Griffin III.
After not throwing at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, today's festivities take on greater meaning for the Heisman Winner as he looks to cement his draft stock as the No. 2 overall pick in April.
There are rumors that RGIII could even surpass Andrew Luck, but first he must prove his arm is on par with his athletic ability.
While the hype centers on Griffin, Baylor features three more players expected to be taken in the front half of the draft.
Wide receiver Kendall Wright had a breakout season in 2012 with 1,663 yards receiving and 14 TDs. Wright is likely to be a late first round selection.
Baylor Center Philip Blake and Running Back Terrence Gannoway are also testing their mettle for pro scouts today, each likely to go in the third or fourth rounds.

NFL Mock Draft: BR's Matt Miller's Picks 21-32
by BleacherReport 13,647 views
NFL Draft Guru Matt Miller winds down his first round mock draft taking us through picks 21-32.
Two Ohio teams, the Bengals and Browns, select at 21 and 22 respectively in the first round. The Bengals offensive line is in serious need of help and Miller sees a fit in Georgia's Cordy Glenn. For Cleveland, there are a lot of holes to fill, but first and foremost they need something to spark their offense which finished 29th in the NFL a season ago. If Baylor wide receiver Kendall Wright is available at 22, Cleveland could use him in their depleted receiving corps.
Last year's playoff teams are featured in this portion of the draft as well. Many of those teams were just one player or one game away from competing for a title, making their first round draft pick even more critical.
Who will the Patriots, Steelers and Packers select? Matt Miller gives you the most up-to-date information for picks 21-32.

Where Will Tim Tebow Go? NFL Draft 365: Ep 6 Segment 1
by BleacherReport 7,976 views
Peyton Manning to the Broncos has a major ripple effect in the NFL. One of the biggest effects the Manning signing will have is the future of the ubiquitous Tim Tebow.
The once anointed savior of the Denver Broncos is now an afterthought for the Broncos and Vice President John Elway, who feigned delight in Tebow all last season under immense fan pressure.
Manning is the signal caller now, so Broncos management is off the hook with Tebow, but what NFL team will take the bait?
Any one of the three professional franchises in Florida makes sense in terms of business and ticket sales, although Tebow's quarterbacking skills don't exactly instill a ton of confidence for any NFL general manager.
Then there are the New England Patriots who signed Josh McDaniels as the team's new offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach this offseason. McDaniels drafted Tebow in 2010 and there are other connections that could bring No. 15 to the Northeast.
Where should Tebow go? The Rush provides all the answers.

Peyton Manning Picks Denver Broncos: Matt Miller Reports
by BleacherReport 2,813 views
Peyton Manning has advised his agent Tom Condon to complete negotiations with the Denver Broncos, according to several reports released Monday morning.
Although negotiations and a final signature are still required, a deal between the two sides appears imminent and ensuing ripple effects could take several permutations.
NFLDraft365's Matt Miller highlights two of the most immediate outcomes to emerge from this new deal. First, the Broncos must decide on the future of Tim Tebow, and Miller believes the team will give him an outright release.
Next, Miller points out that Denver's draft strategy will change as a result of signing Manning. Expect the Broncos to take a defensive player, possibly Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox, with the 25th pick in the first round of the draft.
Stick with NFLDraft365 as details of Manning's negotiations and pending personnel moves emerge.

NFL Mock Draft: BR's Matt Miller's Mid First Round Picks (11 thru 20)
by BleacherReport 4,505 views
2012 MOCK NFL Draft: First Round picks 11 through 20:
In the midst of free-agency frenzy, Matt Miller's draft board changes more than Peyton Manning's play calls at the line of scrimmage.
Miller sorts out the mid-first round picks, from 11-20, and as you'll see, there is an abundance of talent for NFL teams to acquire.
One of the unifying themes from selections 11-20 is that franchises such as the Chiefs, Cardinals, Bengals and Bears all need offensive line help.
According to the draft guru, Stanford's David DeCastro and Jonathan Martin should have an immediate impact as rookies. Iowa's Riley Reiff and Georgia's Cordy Glenn will also be ripe for the taking in the middle of the first round and Miller highlights their likely landing spots.
Additionally, the Bear's acquisition of Brandon Marshall creates an interesting ripple effect and opportunity for teams selecting after Chicago to land a stud receiver in the 2012 NFL Draft.
As free agents continue to sign, Matt Miller's draftboard will no doubt evolve. Stay locked on Bleacher Report's NFL Draft 365 for updates on the ever-changing draft scenarios.

NFL Mock Draft- Bleacher Report's Matt Miller Top 10 Picks for 2012
by BleacherReport 13,879 views
Following Jim Irsay's emotional press conference announcing the release of future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning - Matt Miller delivers an updated 2012 NFL Mock Draft. With Manning's release, Andrew Luck is more than a lock to land in Indianapolis.
From there, things are a little more complicated, but Miller provides a clear explanation on the Rams' likeliest trade partner for their highly valuable second pick and the remaining best fits from three to ten.
Cleveland is rumored to trade with the Rams for the second overall pick (Robert Griffin III), but Miller believes it will ultimately be the Redskins that make final push for the pick and the rights to a quarterback that can truly revitalize the Washington franchise.
Next off the boards are Michael Brockers, Justin Blackmon and Morris Claiborne, but in what order?
Watch to see where Miller places those players and the remainder of this year's top-ten mock draft picks.

Also, if your team is in need of a running back, all eyes are surely on Trent Richardson to fill that hole. However, our draft guru Matt Miller tells you what other running backs deserve some real attention besides Richardson.
And, what do Brandon Weedon, Cam Newton and Peyton Manning all have in common, besides being quarterbacks?
Answer: Chris Weinke.
That's right, we caught up with the former Heisman Trophy winner to discuss the three quarterbacks that join him in this illustrious fraternity.

Andrew Luck? Not throwing. RGIII? Ditto. What about Ryan Tannehill? You guessed it, he's not throwing either. Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins? They're throwing! Sunday is the day when Quarterbacks will try to impress NFL scouts at the NFL scouting combine.
Two Quarterbacks have taken their opportunity to the next level. Michigan State's Kirk Cousins and Wisconsin's Russell Wilson have been working out with IMG's Chris Weinkie the past seven weeks. The former Carolina Panther and Florida State Quarterback, says Wilson and Cousins have an excellent chance of impressing the NFL brass on Sunday. Weinke, who is now the Director of the IMG Madden Football Academy, rented a gym late Saturday night to give his two pupils one final workout before the biggest day of their athletic lives. In a scene out of a spy thriller, Kirk Cousins and Russell Wilson arrived at the gym a few miles from Lucas Oil Stadium. On a bitter February night, they methodically went through their final drills, hanging on every final piece of advice their mentor, Chris Weinke had to offer. Weinke has worked on throwing mechanics, mental toughness and overall preparation for being an NFL QB with the two collegian stars. Now, it's go-time. Weinke says they are ready and will be great NFL QB's. Now, it's up to Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins to turn their dreams into reality.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: RGIII Meets With Eagles, Talks Peyton & Possible Draft Scenarios
by BleacherReport 5,779 views

Last year's Heisman Trophy Winner, Robert Griffin III (QB -- Baylor) got things started on Thursday with a dynamic press conference full of personality, humor and most importantly, confidence.
RGIII indicated that he's already met with the Philadelphia Eagles, which came as a surprise to some, and that he has meetings scheduled with the Kansas City Chiefs and Cleveland Browns on Friday.
During his weigh-in and measurement earlier in the day, Griffin III came in over 6'2" -- his height and size were a bit of a concern in terms of durability heading into the draft season.
At this point, GMs and quarterbacks league-wide are convinced that Griffin III can serve as a true franchise player.
When asked about playing in Indianapolis, Griffin III said he would embrace playing for the Colts and playing backup to Peyton Manning if that situation should arise.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Oklahoma State Wide Receiver Justin Blackmon

Only one other player in history won two Biletnikoff Awards (Michael Crabtree) other than Oklahoma State's Justin Blackmon and he is clearly the top wide receiver in the 2012 Draft class.
Now, Blackmon is dealing with a bit of a hamstring problem, so he won't be on full display at the Combine in Indy. He is participating in the interview portion and indicated that he might run the gauntlet drill and run some short routes.
Blackmon's pro day is next week and that's where he'll show off at full speed for NFL executives, coaches and scouts.
The 6'1", 215-pound wide receiver possesses dynamic speed and amazing hands -- making him a guaranteed top-ten pick.
Experts believe Blackmon could go as high as the second pick or as low as eighth or ninth, but regardless his name will be called early in the first round.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Oakland Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen
by BleacherReport 3,246 views

The Oakland Raiders new Head Coach Dennis Allen find himself in a bit of a precarious situation for the 2012 NFL Draft, as the Raiders do not possess a single pick in the first three rounds.
Instead, Allen and the "Silver and Black" will look to build from within through the likes of now healthy Richard Seymour, Darren McFadden and Michael Bush.
The Raiders are excited after trading for Carson Palmer last year, but exchanged picks in the process. The emergence of Darius Heyward-Bey and Denarious Moore was another bright spot last season.
Allen also mentioned that the team only cares about 40-times when it comes down to choosing between two similar athletes. Interesting stuff coming directly out of the 2012 Combines.

2011 saw Houston make it to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history, but the team faces obstacles in the off-season if it wishes to punch a ticket to the dance again in 2012.
Resigning running back Arian Foster and defensive end Mario Williams is priority one for the Texans during the free agency period.
Beyond locking up those marquee names, Houston would like to strengthen its defensive line, and with the twenty-sixth pick in the first round, Dontari Poe (Memphis) could be a nice fit.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Detroit Lions General Manager Martin Mayhew
by BleacherReport 2,442 views

The Detroit Lions resurgence in 2011 splashed across headlines throughout 2011 -- a result of a high-octane offense led by Matt Stafford, Calvin Johnson and Nate Burleson and a ferocious defensive line anchored by Ndamukong Suh and Cliff Avril.
General Manager Martin Mayhew is not sitting on his laurels though, looking to upgrade the offensive line, secondary and line-backing corps.
Another question mark surrounds the health of running backs Jahvid Best and the team's second round pick from last year, Mikel Leshoure. Best missed a majority of the 2011 season with a concussion and Leshoure never saw a down after being injured in training camp.
Getting those two assets back will make the Lions a more formidable side in 2012.
Mayhew assessed his team's current situation and hopes for the future when he met with the media at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine on Friday.
Watch Bleacher Report's report from Indy to find out what Mayhew had to say.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Giants HC Tom Coughlin Talks Upgrading TE
by BleacherReport 684 views

Three weeks after winning his second Super Bowl as the headman of the New York Giants, Tom Coughlin is back in Indianapolis, this time for the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine.
Coughlin says being back in Indy is a joyous occasion -- a great reminder of the Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots on February 5th.
But, there is still business to be done - no time for the Giants to suffer a hangover.
The Giants most glaring hole comes at the tight end position, as both Travis Beckum and Jake Ballard suffered knee injuries in the Super Bowl.
Coughlin has his eye on Georgia tight end Orson Charles who is an athletic, vertical athlete, with the thirty-second pick in the first round.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Viking's Head Coach Leslie Frazier updates on Adrian Peterson Health
by BleacherReport 1,661 views
Remember to Subscribe! http://goo.gl/hMQhf
Head Coach Leslie Frazier and the Minnesota Vikings underwent a tumultuous season in 2011.
On the bright side, they stumbled across Christian Ponder, who appears to have all the tools needed at quarterback to lead a potent offense. Yet, the offensive line gave him little time and space -- a major concern for the Vikings this off-season.
Minnesota is up third in the draft and the odds are on the franchise selecting USC offensive lineman Matt Kalil to protect Ponder and open holes for Adrian Peterson.
Speaking of Peterson, he suffered a gruesome knee injury in Week 12, but remains the anchor of the Vikings offense. The team may look to add some depth at running back to lessen the workload on their franchise player.
What do the Vikings think of Matt Kalil? Are they definitely going to take him with the third pick in late April?

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher Not Trading Sam Bradford
by BleacherReport 2,090 views
Remember to Subscribe! http://goo.gl/hMQhf
A fifth-straight losing season (2-14) meant the St. Louis Rams would have to make significant changes in the off-season.
The first major move came with the signing of former Tennessee Titans Head Coach, Jeff Fisher.
Fisher stepped to the microphone at the NFL Combine to discuss how the franchise will handle the second overall pick. Speculation surrounds Sam Bradford's future in St. Louis and whether or not the Rams will trade him and select a quarterback in the draft. Some point to St. Louis trading the pick.
Other reports indicate St. Louis taking a big play wide receiver like Justin Blackmon to spark an anemic offense.
With veteran back Steven Jackson and youthful promise on defense, a few key moves in the off-season could change the Rams fortune quickly.
Which way will they go with the second pick?

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: John Elway Talks Tim Tebow & Future Backup QB - Day 2 - NFL Draft 365
by BleacherReport 1,881 views
Remember to Subscribe! http://goo.gl/hMQhf
Broncos Executive Vice President John Elway took the stage first on the second day of the NFL Scouting Combine taking place in Indianapolis.
Tim Tebow monopolized the headlines throughout the NFL season and it was no different during Elway's press conference on Friday.
The Denver quarterback provided the orange and blue faithful with the highest of highs and some significant lows in 2011, but he earned the starting spot when the Broncos enter camp this summer.
Tebow and the quarterback position aren't the only concerns for the Broncos in the off-season. Additions must be made at the skill positions, whether through the draft or free agency.
Look for the Broncos to the running back and wide receiver positions in order to put more talent around Tim Tebow.
How will the Broncos make that happen?

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Robert Griffin III Weigh-In - Day 2 - NFL Draft 365
by BleacherReport 3,578 views
Day two of the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine is upon us, and after a relatively quiet day on Thursday, today has already produced major news.
Heisman winner Robert Griffin III measured in over 6'2", solidifying his status as a potential second overall pick. The only knock on RGIII prior to this morning was his size, but that doesn't seem to be an issue anymore.
Griffin's star will only rise after this news and as a dual-threat quarterback, he is bolstered by the success of another Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton.
Today's happenings may place some added pressure on the St. Louis Rams, who've been rumored to potentially trade their franchise quarterback Sam Bradford or trade the pick to a team looking for their own cornerstone piece in RGIII.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Recapping Hottest Stories from Day 1 in Indianapolis
by BleacherReport 2,890 views
Andrew Luck, RGIII, Trent Richardson?
Nope, even at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine, Peyton Manning was the headliner.
The New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins were all asked about their interest level in the veteran quarterback as coaches and executives from around the league addressed media on the first day of the combine.
The Dolphins Joe Philbin made waves when he told reporters that his team will definitely look to add another quarterback, even though Matt Moore is on the roster.
Also, it appears the run game will be new focus for the hometown Colts. They'll look to a run-first offense and creating a defense that can better shutdown opposing rushers.
It was a full day of news and notes from the Combine on Thursday and Friday promises to provide more of the same.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Pat Shurmur Analyzes Browns Draft Needs
by BleacherReport 3,179 views
The Cleveland Browns are up fourth in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft and up at the podium at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine today was team's head coach, Pat Schurmer.
The Browns' play with the fourth pick is to pick a running back, and it's likely to be Alabama's Trent Richardson who finished third in the Heisman voting this past season.
Why do they need Richardson? The Browns finished 30th in points scored and 29th in yards gained in 2011. Peyton Hillis was a major disappointment at running back and the Browns were unable to find anyone to effectively fill the spot. Richardson would aid a desperate offense instantly.
Of course, after finishing 4-12, several other areas must be addressed, but the Browns are keen on Richardson.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Chuck Pagano Talks Colts Strategy for Upcoming Year
by BleacherReport 1,323 views
Brand new Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano and new General Manager Ryan Grigson both took the stage in their home stadium to talk about how the Indianapolis Colts can be rebuild in a post-Peyton Manning era.
Quarterback is the most glaring area of weakness as the Colts struggled mightily on offense, going 2-14 a year after making the playoffs in 2010. Manning's contract situation remains and enigma, but signs are he will won't be the signal caller in Indy next year.
Besides quarterback, upgrades are needed all over the board if the Colts expect to be major players in the AFC next season.
Management was overhauled in the off-season, now its time for personnel.
Will Andrew Luck be the pick for the Colts, and did the organization tell the top overall prospect to not throw at the Combine? Find out inside.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Rex Ryan Discusses Roster Upgrades in Indianapolis
by BleacherReport 1,674 views
New York Jets General Manager Mike Tannenbaum heads into the 2012 Draft looking to gain help at the quarterback, running back and pass rush positions.
Rumors have swirled regarding Mark Sanchez' future with the team after losing the locker room last season. Just like numerous other teams in the NFL, Peyton Manning has been rumored to land in East Rutherford next year.
Tannenbaum will look to use both the draft and free agency to get the Jets back to the AFC Championship Game and beyond.
Afterwards, it was Rex Ryan's turn to speak. Team -- it's a simple word, but the Jets struggled to live up to the term both on and off the field last year.
The New York Jets feel they have the pieces in place to win, so how do they get back in to the playoffs?

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Chan Gailey Discusses Adding Pass Rusher in April's Draft
by BleacherReport 979 views
It's late afternoon in Indianapolis and Buffalo Bills Head Coach Chan Gailey took his turn at addressing the media regarding team needs heading into the 2012 NFL Draft.
The Bills were the NFL's first half surprise team, racing out of the gate 5-2. Shockingly, Buffalo won just one more game the entire season to finish 6-10 and tied for worst in the AFC East.
Both sides of the ball went through the best of times and the worst of times in 2011 -- the bright spots being (WR) Stevie Johnson, (LB) Nick Barnett and (S) Jairus Byrd.
However, an infusion of talent must come through the draft and free agency if the Bills expect to compete with the Patriots, Jets and Dolphins in 2012.
How do they get back on track?
The Bills have needs at pass rusher, defensive back and wide receiver. Where will they go in the first round? Find out from Gailey himself.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Matt Kalil Discuses Draft Process in Indianapolis
by BleacherReport 1,969 views
USC's passing offense in 2011 was as dynamic as it's been since the days of Leinart and Palmer. Matt Barkley posted career numbers and broke Pac-12 records in the process.
Besides being flanked by stud receivers Robert Woods and Marqise Lee, (OT) Matt Kalil anchored a Trojan offensive line that provided an abundance of time and space for skill players.
Kalil is the best overall offensive line prospect entering the 2012 NFL Draft and is expected to go in the early first round, third overall to the Minnesota Vikings.
Big, strong and athletic, Kalil would be an opening-day starter on Ponder's left side and allows Minnesota to focus its later picks on improving the talent in the secondary and at wide receiver.
But, as Kalil mentioned today at the NFL Combine, he has a lot to work through before he enters training camp late this summer.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Ron Rivera Discusses Draft Strategy in Panthers Media Session
by BleacherReport 1,735 views
Rookie Head Coach Ron Rivera was aided by another rookie last season, Cam Newton, making the Carolina Panthers a surprise team in 2011.
Newton's dynamic offensive contribution combined with the two-headed monster of Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams and the reemergence of Steve Smith as a deep threat gave opposing defenses fits last season.
A weak defense was largely to blame for the team's disappointing 6-10 record, so the Panthers will look for help through the draft and free agency.
Regardless, the Panthers are ready to take the next step toward a playoff berth.
Find out how Rivera feels he can improve the Panthers and don't miss his Robert Griffin III breakdown. After coaching and witnessing Newton's two-way exploits last year, who better to provide insight about the Heisman winter.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Greg Schiano Breaks Down Buccaneers Draft Strategy
by BleacherReport 1,910 views
After losing ten straight games to end the 2011 campaign, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers fired Raheem Morris and hired former Rutgers Head Coach Greg Schiano.
In his first, major NFL appearance, Schiano met with the media to discuss his plans for getting the Bucs back on track. Schiano brings six former Rutgers coaches with him to Tampa, but what do the Buccaneers lack before they are a double digit win team again?
One area of immediate improvement will be the defense, primarily the secondary. The Buccaneers defense ranked 30th in overall team defense and in the bottom third in passing yards surrendered. Thus, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne becomes an extremely attractive pick for Tampa with the fifth pick in the 2012 draft.
Tampa will also look to bolster their defensive line and add another running back after LeGarrette Blount battled through injury last year.
Matt Miller and NFLDraft365 dish out all the answers and will continue to break new from Indy all day long.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Jason Garrett Breaks Down Draft Strategy at Cowboys Presser
by BleacherReport 2,572 views
During the Dallas Cowboys' media session at the 2012 NFL Draft Combine, third-year coach Jason Garrett was full of praise for his rookie running back out of Oklahoma, Demarco Murray.
Murray, 24, saw action in 13 games during his rookie campaign, succumbing to an ankle injury late in 2011. He gave much-needed offense to a team already desimated at the running back spot, averaging 5.7 yards-per-carry. Murray's breakout game came in week 6, as he ran for 253 yards against the St. Louis Rams.
Garrett explains that the draft is ideally for selecting the best players available on the board and that the team will plug holes during free agency.
The media also peppered Garrett with questions about Jason Hatcher's controversial remarks, insinuating that the Cowboys lacked leadership last season.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Miami Dolphins GM Jeff Ireland & Head Coach Joe Philbin on Future
by BleacherReport 2,852 views
Down in South Beach, the biggest offseason talk is focused on the Miami Dolphins acquiring a true franchise quarterback during the offseason. Several names have been bandied about - Peyton Manning, Matt Flynn and Heisman Trophy Winner, Robert Griffin III (RG3).
Newly hired head coach Joe Philbin and General Manager Jeff Ireland addressed the media at the 2012 NFL Scouting Combine regarding the issue. Ireland was clear, saying the team is looking for leadership from the quarterback position. Since Dan Marino retired after the 1999 season, the Dolphins have fielded 16 quarterbacks, yielding very little success in the process.
Suffice it to say, now is the time for the Dolphins to create a new trajectory at the position, whether it be through the draft or a free agent acquisition. The Dolphins showed in the last half of the 2011 season that there is enough talent to win and a bona fide quarterback could make all the difference in 2012.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Coach Lovie Smith on Jay Cutler and State of Chicago Bears
by BleacherReport 2,745 views
The Chicago Bears were one win, and one Jay Cutler injury, away from winning the NFC in 2010. The 2011 season was a different story. Injuries to Cutler and Matt Forte ravaged the team and led to a disappointing 8-8 record. What steps must the Bears take to get back on top?
Head Coach Lovie Smith reveals how involved he was in the process of finding a new general manager to replace the fired Jerry Angelo, and even touched on how comfortable he was with his job under new General Manager Phil Emery.
And perhaps most important, Smith touches on which direction the team will be looking in free agency and through the draft.
First, and foremost, star running back Matt Forte hits the free agency market next month as a coveted prize, though his devastating knee injury from last season will temper enthusiasm.
Additionally, (WR) Roy Williams, (TE) Kellen Davis, (DE) Israel Idonije, (DT) Amobi Okoye, and (S) Brandon Meriweather are all free agents this off-season.

NFL Scouting Combine 2012: Detroit Lions Jim Schwartz Reactions - Day 1 - NFL Draft 365
by BleacherReport 3,243 views
Head Coach Jim Schwartz took to the podium at the 2012 Scouting Combine to address the state of the Detroit Lions. The biggest questions surrounded Lions management approach towards its own free agents.
Defensive starters Cliff Avril and Stephen Tulloch enter free agency next month, and Schwartz mentioned both players are very important to the future of the Detroit defense. Schwartz indicated the team plans to try and re-sign their own players first and then worry about entering the free agency market to address key needs.
Schwartz highlighted quarterback Matthew Stafford and Avril as the two players who took the biggest jumps in 2011 and a big reason the Lions were able to make a playoff appearance.
Stafford, 23, threw for 5,038 yards and 41 touchdowns in his third year as a pro -- engineering a high flying Lions offense to the team's first playoff appearance since 1999.
A key cog in the revamped, aggressive Detroit defensive line, Avril posted 11 sacks while playing in all 16 games. -

Tiki Barber on Giants Running Back Needs - NFL Draft 365 Extra
by BleacherReport 6,758 views
When it comes to running backs and the New York Giants, it's safe to say Tiki Barber has an opinion or two. The all-time Giants rushing leader sits down with "NFL Draft 365" host, Alexi Panos, to let us know what the Super Bowl champions outlook in 2012 is on the running back front.
For starters, Ahmad Bradshaw had a persistent foot injury in 2011. We last saw him scoring a reluctant TD in the waning moments of Super Bowl XLVI. He seemed relatively healthy, but Giant fans and Tiki both are a little concerned about his foot.
Brandon Jacobs recently raised some eyebrows in New York by saying he had no plans of retiring if the Giants didn't retain him. He went on to tell the Giants faithful that he would not rule out signing with the rival New York Jets. A few days later, Jacobs appeared at a TMA Impact Wrestling event, only to have Bully Ray spit beer in his face ringside.
Now you know the back-story, check out what Tiki thinks of the G-Men backfield situation. -
