On earth day 2009, Penn State became the first major university in America to join the Environmental Protection Agency's Sustainability Partnership. The formal signing of the agreement took place at noon on Earth Day in front of Penn State's HUB-Robeson Center.
Representing the EPA, and welcoming Penn State into the partnership was Wayne Naylor, deputy director of the EPA's Land and Chemicals Division and a Penn State alumnus.

As a pro-director/producer [PSU '68] the piece is a winner. Editing, graphics, content - and reaching a target audience with the message of 'invest in PS' for the solutions to energy challanges" is clear and dramatic - although that message is not backed up by current energy policy. Coal is the promised target for elimation by the Adminitration. - while the energy source proven to delliver in every environmental and economical way, atomic power - is also branded as "not to be considered" by the "greens' or the current administration. Solar is interesting, but only as a long long term possibility. Loved the video!
