U@live (pronounced "U-alive) is a special monthly forum that will showcase the many outstanding members of the NUS community -- students, faculty and alumni -- who have been indefatigable in championing causes that will make this a better world. Some are well known names while others are unsung heroes -- all individuals driven by boundless passion, energy and courage. The focus is on the "why" and "what" of the cause, and not the profile of the speaker. This is also the spirit that underscores the tagline:Passion. Action. Inspiration.
The idea of the platform is to inspire the young of today -- students and beyond -- to believe in cause passionately and be committed to that belief. Hence the "U" in U@live stands for both the individual and the University that encourages him and were both the individual and the university flourish and come 'alive' with such ideas.
With its strategic location at the crossroads of Asia, the School welcomes eminent speakers who share their expertise and insights on key policy issues with the community.
