Health Care in America is not broken, People come from other countries to get healthcare here because the Gov. system they are on is not efficient. What is broken is these bogus law suits brought on by lawyers against doctors. Why is it when Obama mentioned tort reform during the speech the Republicans all stood up showing an bill that would fix these problems the Dems just sit down and do not agree? They must been in bed with the lawyers. I am in school now to be a doctor, but I am sick of all this stuff discouraging people to become doctors, I just want to get my MD and save lives now there is all this red tape because the Obama administration believes everyone deserves a handout at the expense of the hardworking Americans.

The idea that government intervention can actually make healthcare less costly and more efficient is simply false. There has never been a single government agency or program that has not been fraught with mismanagement, waste and abuse. We already have a "Public option" it is called Medicare. I pay for this "Public option" with every paycheck and it is still in the hole. So with this new "public option" I would pay for (2) public options and if I keep my employer's insurance it will be taxed as a benefit. Let's set our own term limits and vote every incumbent out. I believe the backlash you are seeing has nothing to do with political affiliation and everything to do with the excesses shown by the government in the bailouts and stimulus packages, and the government's total disregard for the American people.

So that's the best you can represent our State on such an important issue--but representing your own interests? Not hard to tell who's on the pharmaceutical companies payrolls.
