How you doing man, Im working away as usual trying to finish things and also creating new things. It seems like a crazy cycle, when much of these bits that will never see the light of day but what can you do. I can say without hesitation that I hate the new channel design. They say its not so bad once you get used to, but that is beside the point as many of the people who watch the things on my page have never been on youtube before and would be befuddled by the layout. Did you get down to shooting that short you were planning?

You can still be a great filmmaker with a good audio background. David Firth is an incredible audio editor, who has expanded and now he makes visual work also. Alas, Im defiantly not too handy at the old audio aspect myself. I know what you mean about the likeability of old country houses. Most of my shorts are shot in a rural setting because it tends to come out well on screen. I dont know what it is, maybe the texture, or fresh lighting, or lack of road atmosphere. Take your time with the shooting anyway, you want something that enhances what you have already recorded and is constantly interesting. Good luck with the old exams also!

Good to hear the film is moving along, no I've never used Linux altough I have friends who highly recomend it. I really don't care which I use as long as it works.
