Leela is a Brazilian Rock group formed by Bianca Jhordão (vocals, guitar, theremin, maracas), Rodrigo Brandão (guitar and vocals), Tchago Kochenborger (bass and vocals) and PHD Ronzoni (drums).

Their first self-titled album, released in 2004 by EMI, has the hits Te Procuro, that was part of the soundtrack of Malhação (Brazilians TV series), Odeio Gostar, Ver O Que Faço and Rádio Blá.

They were granted the award of Best New Group on VMB 2005 from MTV and were nominated for the Latin America Grammy of 2005 for Best Brazilian Rock Album, Meus Prêmios Nick (from Nickelodeon), Faustão and Prêmio Multishow. They toured all over the country and also performed as an opening act for the Avril Lavignes concerts in Brazil.

In 2006, the band started to write their new album and spent one month in a house in Itaipava (RJ) and another month in another house in São Paulo.

In 2007, with the band members living in São Paulo, they recorded and released their second album, Pequenas Caixas (Arsenal/Universal Music).

Besides the hit Pequenas Caixas on the track list goes: Garota-Espelho, Sem Final, P.S., 6 Horas Sem Desculpas, Cortina, Amores Frágeis and the colaborations of the beatnik-poet Fausto Fawcett on 1 Beijo Pede Bis, Delirium, Amor Barato e Mundo Visionário.

From this work, you can expect rock with powerful guitar riffs, steady, hypnotizing beats and lyrics that talk about disagreements and transformations. Everything made with great amount of passion.
