What better way to learn about annotations, then from an annotation... itself...?

This video isn't exactly an in-depth tutorial on the annotations feature, but it should run down enough of the basics for most people to use the feature in various, innovative ways. Imagination is the most important feature of annotations, but you have to know how to use them first.

Guess not... Not only are so many people against it, but it still is far from working right.

If you don't think YouTube should force the new design onto everyone on July 15th, you don't have much time to speak out. When you have HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of people against something, threatening to leave, etc...

My solution: a 'hybrid' of the two designs... the look of the current design, with the customization features of the new one. I'd like that.

Also, the beta design is being used on Groups now. I couldn't even tell the difference between the Groups and a Channel at first...

YouTube RealTime... a toolbar that lets you see which of your YouTube friends are online, and their recent activity (what they choose to share).

(For those who have it, what do you think of it?)

Since I'm able to send out invites for people to try it, comment to this video if you are interested. And yes, you do have the option to disable it if you find out you don't like it.

RealTime seems to be having a few issues with Internet Explorer at the moment. I've tried to send YouTube a bug report about it, hopefully they get around to it when they try to fix the other site problems :P
