The spiritual path involves questioning society's beliefs and practices, and especially the validity of the workings of your own mind. What we think and believe to be true, is very often far from the truth, even if that opinion is held by the masses of society. The automatic consequence of that falsehood then, or even of limited relative truths, is what creates all of our suffering, individually and collectively. So if you're tired of suffering, no matter what the shape or form of that suffering might be, seek truth, live that truth, and be that truth.

About Me:

Although there is almost no focus on the "me", "myself", "mine" and "I", and my story is considered to be quite irrelevant, here's a little info for those with inquiring minds...

At the age of 26 there was a profound spiritual awakening over the course of about 5 days. It was a period of intense surrender and looking-within for truth, where there was revelation after revelation, epiphany after epiphany (it was all being written down in point form), and then a point was reached where there was a feeling of "I'm going to die." No, not physical death, but the very essence of what we believe is "me", the thinkingness of the mind.

Unfortunately, because of an ignorance of the topic at the time, and because of the tenacity of the ego/mind, "I" feared to follow through with that death, and thus, Enlightenment wasn't permanent.

So, now "my" life is radically different than it was prior to that, and it primarily consists of practicing, living, becoming, being and sharing the following:

Spirituality, Universal Truth, Nonduality, Advaita, Enlightenment, Awareness, Consciousness, All-Knowingness, Buddhism, Zen, Hinduism, Taoism, Christianity, Love, Peace, Holistic Health, Nutrition, Placebo Effect, Silent Mind, Biology, Cells, Quantum Physics, Philosophy, Psychiatry, Psychology, Psychotherapy, Neuroscience, Forgiveness, Meditation, Prayer, Surrender, Contemplation, Self-Inquiry, and so on.

In short, Love/Peace/Truth. :)

Yes, I remember how thoughts were fading away and I started to panic; couldnt feel my breathe and started thinking that IT (God, by whatever name) brought me all the way here so that I could die! No no! I cannot die now what about my family and so on. I was so afraid. I kept holding on to that one thought of my family... but then it happened no mind and pure stillness very intense followed by an overwhelming feeling of pure joy, laughter and an unexplainable clarity in things. I could for the first time feel my own life-force (prana) very strongly hehe... it was an invitation. From there on lots of work with this... you know becuase the mind. =)

I enjoyed reading your responses, you have a way with words :)

I also noticed that you read Sri Nisargadatta Maharaja. Have you read his book 'I Am That'? It's an amazing book and one I highly recommend.

And thanks for your recommendation. I will definitely check it out :)
