Now that a new channel has been created for posts from 2008, here is a little "look back" at some representative videos from last year. In 2008, we introduced Jazz Vespers to First Church of the Nazarene in a series of 4 services, Jan. thru April. Pulling from my professional colleagues, 4 distinct presentations were assembled. One video post from each service is included in this overview. Additional posts can be found on my main page for this channel. Acknowledging God's revelation in the creative arts (and in all creation), worship is formed around jazz musicians doing what they (we) do. Only the music is represented here, for a taste of the complete picture, plan to attend the second annual series of services: Jan thru Apr, 2009.
