Hilary Hahn,I went to see one of your concerts in Washington DC , you played with the National Symphony Orchestra. The way you played the Paganini Concerto was unbelievable!!!! By the way i was the girl who told you that you were my top favorite violinist.Later my friend and I had a picture taken with you. You were so nice and patient since my mom took a while to figure out how to use the camera on her phone.I see the picture everyday on my mom's phone screen.I miss that time. Hello there, I've seen a few of your videos here on Youtube. Your music displays much of your prodigous technical skill and ear for music. Your interpretations of some pieces are very well played.(in my opinion most noteably your Bach Chaconne) If its not too much hassle, I'd like to ask you a question. On stage, have you honestly ever played a wrong note, which lead to completely messing up the piece? Or at least made a major mistake?( And If you did, what did you do? :P) If not, congratulations again on your great success and I hope you have much more in the future!

You are like the music soooo beautiful

Hi Hilary, I was wondering if you could do a little video on different violins and what you like especially about them (tone, richness, quality, price, etc.) The reason why I ask this is because I'm wanting to learn to play the violin but find wading through all the selection and the cheap quality violins too much. Thanks for taking time to read this and your truly an inspiration on all levels!

I have heard the chaconne countless times, played it on the guitar countless times. Tired of hearing great
virtuosos tear thru the arpeggios at great speed, showing off; once more with feeling, please. But your perfect rendition brought me to my knees and for the first time , I cried like a baby. I have never been so impressed by the expressive, interpretive genius of a musician.  And, at 70, I've been around. I pray for your
continued success, adoration and growth.

I still remember attending one of your concerts in Melbourne about 10 or so years ago! You were a great inspiration to me! Do you think it's possible if you could upload a few videos on violin technique and tips? Or even better, your commentary as to how you approach different works such as Chaconne, Franck violin sonata etc? Hahaha... you're busy so I don't expect you to do so but it would be cool nonetheless if you can! Love your playing! You're an incredibly beautiful and sophisticated musician! Keep up the good work!

hello, when you play do you think ( sing ) every note in your brain before playing?or is it just your mind is in the stage of music and melody only. If you think previosuly every note how do you do this in a quick passage.?
