Dear fedy111 & sankeman2004 , your Ques: 46899 / 9
As shown in Vid keep adding digits in this pattern ... 4 (4+6) (4+6+8) ... just put the last digit sum separately

4 (10) (18)(27)  last digit sum is 36

Take care of Carry Forwards . Divide last digit sum 36 by 9 and add

Answer = 5207 + 4 = 5211

Method is simple . In the Full EasyCal Math Series of 30 Videos I have explained how to use it for dividing with any 2 digit divisor . Visit glad2teach website for full copy .

I am so happy to see that there is still wisdom in the world and that the wisdom of people from thousands of years ago has not been lost! One wonders if we have advanced at all when so many people are functionally illiterate in a world filled with technology. Thank you for your excellent teachings.

Hello canada6039107 , these EasyCal tricks are based on the ancient algorithms of Vedic Mathematics (Vedas are Holy Scriptures from India, more than 3000 yrs old ). Vedic Mathematics is not just a collection of isolated tricks but a complete parallel system of Mathematics . In the complete EasyCal Series available on Glad2teach website ( link on the left ) I have explained this simple Vedic technique to divide with all 2 digit numbers directly ( dividend can be upto a 10 digit number ). It is suppose to be the shortest way to do the Long Division ( takes just 1 or 2 lines ).

The present system of Mathematics that we are taught at schools is completely paper and pen based ( long steps thus very slow, almost impossible to do mentally). 3000 yrs back as you can imagine not only there was no calculator but no paper as well. Thus the Indian sages developed these smart algorithm ( simple steps ) to do even the difficult calculations mentally . These Vedic Techniques of faster math are an acme of human ingenuity.

Dear FersotJ , let me try your Ques 2 9 8 5 1 / 9

2 ( 2+9) ( 2+9+8 ) ... so on , last term will be sum of all digits (= 25) which is put seperately as shown in video

2 ( 11 ) ( 19 ) ( 24 ) ........25 / 9 [=2 with remainder 7 ]

Simply taking care of Carries ( Answer is )
3 3 1 4 + 2 = 3 3 1 6 ( with r = 7 )

Or 3 3 1 6 . 7 in decimal form ... Really Glad2teach : )
