The year of 2012 held witness to some of the most exciting racing in Ginetta's history. For the second year in a row, the Michelin Ginetta GT SuperCup went right down to the final race of the season, with Carl Breeze finally clinching the championship from Tom Sharp after a stunning second half of the season whilst Mark Davies stormed to the G50 crown, collecting 14 race wins along the way.

The Ginetta Juniors proved no less competitive, with Charlie Robertson having to battle to the last meeting of the season to out-do his 2nd place in 2011 and claim the championship ahead of Sennen Fielding and Niall Murray.

Over in the Ginetta Challenge, Sean Huyton proved too much for his rivals in the G40 class, picking up an impressive 10 race wins on his way to the championship; whilst in the G20 class, Matt Flowers claimed the championship with a dominant display throughout the season.
