I agree with retroman. I signed up but stopped using gametap just as quickly because that program required to use it is just grossly inefficient in every way. Why do we even need to download a special program just for downloading why isnt it possible to just download directly using account details?

Gametap sucks on my pc. PLEASE make a lite version for lower hardware! Two features that need to be in a new version: The importing of ROMs and lowering the eating of the hard drive.

do any of you know why they changed it?(it was a rhetorical question) Turner orginally owned it and he was about to pull the plug so Metaboli bought it. Turner didn't want them to have the player so rather than gametap completely dieing they put it on a broswer. Thats what I understand of it. Please do correct me if im wrong, but yeah the player was better.
