Finitude was born at August 19th, 2005, made up of five experienced musicians in different musical styles, who decided to make an innovative metal band with no limits for creativity. In less than one year after its creation, the first Demo CD "Way of Wisdom" was released. Its release date was April 22, 2006 and it was well received by the critics of specialized media, Internet and the public in general.

In 2007, Finitude released a new work, the single "Inside a Human's Head" and, along with other famous brazilian bands, took part of "Projeto Verão", an open big festival organized by the administration of Finitudes hometown, Aracaju-SE. In the same year, the band went on a big tour around seven Brazilian northeastern capital cities along with the power metal band Burning in Hell. All Finitude members benefited greatly from the experience gained during the tour. The band also opened the night for another famous Brazilian band, Hangar.

Finitude started 2008 playing live at the biggest independent rock festival, "Palco do Rock", which happens during the carnival in the city of Salvador, Brazil. In August of the same year the band was the open act of André Matoss band. That concert happened in Aracaju city and André Matos was Finitudes special guest to share the microphones with Marcelo Menezes. Finitude also was nominated for Revelation Award by the Dynamite Music Award, Brazils greatest independent music scenario celebration.

During all these years, Finitude made several live performances in many cities of the state of Sergipe (Brazil), such as Estância, Lagarto, Maruim and many others. In Aracaju-SE, Finitudes hometown, the band has played live many times on "Rua da Cultura" (Culture Street), an important cultural organization which promotes independent music all over the state of Sergipe. Finitude has also made live performances throughout several Brazilian northeastern cities such as Salvador and Paulo Afonso Bahia, Maceió Alagoas, Recife Pernambuco, Natal Rio Grande do Norte, Fortaleza Ceará.

In order to celebrate all this acknowledgement Finitudes been achieving, a new work is been released: the single Never See My Fall, which will feature three new innovative tracks, if compared to the bands previous songs, and will show the bands new aspects and aspirations. It will mark the end of an era and the beginning of the race for the major aim of any band: the release of its first official album.
