Welcome to the YouTube channel
of the European Space Agency (ESA).

ESA is Europe's gateway to space.
Its mission is to shape the development of Europe's space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.

SPACE exploration is a collective journey.
This is why 18 European countries have been pooling resources for over 40 years, putting Europe at the forefront of space science, technology and applications.

SPACE also means fun.
Our team produces clips with the best images of Earth and of the Universe, with astronauts and other space events for you to watch and share.

Hi ESA - thanks to Frank De Winne for answering my question from the ISS, and thanks for providing us with these great videos - I always watch out for the ISS as it passes over, and it's great knowing that Europe is a part of it. I love astronomy and space, and I really hope to work with companies like you some day. George Kristiansen, 16, UK.
