Why are all you groups so afraid to admit to the biggest underlying cause of all our environmental problems, ie. the planet being catastrophically overpopulated? Are you afraid of losing the support of the religious groups who traditionally are blindly natalist? Face it, Earth is currently carrying more than 3 times it's optimum capacity, and nothing short of drastically reining in the birth rate globally is going to give humankind even a remote chance of surviving.
