About Me:
From January/1995 on, this band has been going through the path which must be crossed over. Since the beginning of the local scene in Belo Horizonte, state capital of Minas Gerais, most Eminence members have been riding along the underground ways. After several concerts throughout the state and with a large number of contacts in Brazil as well as abroad, the band got qualified to participate in a top countrywide music contest, SKOL ROCK. Representatives from MTV, Warner Music and major magazines and newspapers from the showbusiness gave the band the first place in the state and third in the national key ranking, which caused great impact. That is, considering the odds for a heavy and agressive band among the majority of pop, blues and rock'n'roll bands that always get special attention from the mass media in Brazil. Making independent productions, promotion and much material give-away, the band played a tour in Holland and Belgium, between september and december/98, getting a lot of positive reviews. Going back home, a new album, Chaotic System - CD, was created and then released and distribucted. Working hard on promotion and touring, playing in festivals and supporting foreing bands, the work got towards getting worldwide approach. Then, the license agreement was set with Diamond Records to distribute Chaotic System in more than 15 european countries. The line up brough the attention from the media and audience over the countries where this band played before. Besides the guitar and band founder Alan Wallace , EMINENCE has in its cast the drummer André Márcio which played in another brazilian metal band OVERDOSE.The album "Humanology"( 2004) is produced by Neil Kernon . News: Brazilian extreme metallers EMINENCE will release their new album, "The God of all Mistakes", via Locomotive Records on March 21 in Europe and May 19 in the U.S. EMINENCE's video for the song "Day 7" can be viewed below. The track comes off "The God of all Mistakes", which was recorded at Maquina Studios with producer by Tue Madsen (ROB HALFORD, MNEMIC, THE HAUNTED). The mixing sessions took place at the Antfarm studio in Århus, Denmark.
