The April 10th Neil Young show at the Halifax Metro Centre. It was a really great show with a long setlist that saw Neil jump around to just about every era of his career, and add in some new tunes from his latest album, Fork in the Road.
Setlist: 1. "When You Dance I Can Really Love" -- After The Gold Rush (1970) 2. "Are You Ready For The Country?" -- Harvest (1972) 3. "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" -- Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (1969) 4. "Spirit Road" -- Chrome Dreams II (2007) 5. "Pocahontas" -- Rust Never Sleeps (1979) 6. "Barstool Blues" -- Zuma (1975) 7. "Words (Between The Lines of Age)" -- Harvest (1972) 8. "Cinnamon Girl" -- Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere (1969) 9. "Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)" -- Ragged Glory (1990) 10. "Change Your Mind" -- Sleeps With Angels (1994) 11. "Light A Candle" -- Fork In The Road (2009) 12. "The Needle And The Damage Done" -- Harvest (1972) 13. "Lost In Space" -- Hawks And Doves (1980) 14. "The Ways Of Love" -- Freedom (1989) 15. "Unknown Legend" -- Harvest Moon ( 1992) 16. "Heart Of Gold" -- Harvest (1972) 17. "Old Man" -- Harvest (1972) 18. "Speakin' Out" -- Tonight's The Night (1975) 19. "Tonight's The Night" -- Tonight's The Night (1975) 20. "Go To Town" -- Fork In The Road (2009) 21. "Albuquerque" -- Tonight's The Night (1975) 22. "Get Behind The Wheel" -- Fork In The Road (2009) 23. "World On A String" -- Tonight's The Night (1975) 24. "Just Singing A Song" -- Fork In The Road (2009) Encore: "Like A Hurricane" -- American Stars And Bars (1977) I didn't get as much footage as I would have liked, and keep in mind that these videos are taken from semi-nose bleed seats, but the view was still pretty damn decent. It was a great show, and I hope he comes back this way again soon. |

Not quite as "world class" as it claims on the bottle, but I liked it a lot.

More Q&A and bonus footage, with a cameo by Millie the cat. Sorry for so many cuts. I had to edit for time. Any questions for future Q&As may be posted in the comments section under this video. Some questions I may have missed, so I'll get to them in future Q&As. Cheers.

Excellent Reviews. I am in Halifax and have discovered some great tasting beers thanks to you. Unfortunately looks like I missed a chance at the QA session :) Maybe another one down the pipes?

I recommend you try Sierra Nevada's beer. They have a pale ale, a porter, a stout, and an IPA that many people say are the best beers in America. The best part is that they're a microbrewery. So, you know you might get quality over that stuff.

I don't know if you can get this in Canada, but you should do a review of the Great Divide Brewing Co's 'Yeti Imperial Stout'...
