Hello, I'm Rob. I'm a classic gamer that loves and respects games. Gaming is an artform for me.

So, the primary purpose of this channel is to show the games as they deserve to be shown. On the real consoles, no piracy or emulation, no editing. No voiceovers, no added music, no pulling punches, just simply, great gameplay on the real games.

The secondary purpose to this channel is self improvement. Respecting myself and others. I tend to be a thinker, and want to get my thoughts down on video. What's said is done, and if it helps people along the way, all the better.

In the previous two years I have started to move forward in gaming (no longer playing the same games over and over), and starting to move forward in my life. I wouldn't give it up for the world.

The only rules are no piracy talk (I find it insulting), respect the games, and respect each other.

Thank you.

Rob, when you get to the Leviathan in R2, I garuntee you'll be impressed.

Same here. I don't mind brown at all, it's just they take it to the dark ugly levels. I'd like really light, white brown like in some older games...Serious Sam for an example (TFE) has kind of brown-ish colors for environment, but they're all light. Also, the sand is orange (some aren't..), exceptions are beginning of Oasis and Moon Mountains.

Yeah, I don't think it's needed. Some games really overuse it. I can get used to it though.
SonicAnnihilator (1 day ago)
Hey Rob, what do you think of BROWN next-gen games slapped with lots of BLOOM and HDR? I personally think it's stupid...and annoying.
elbryan42 (1 day ago)
I 100% agree with you. Resistance: FOM really, really surprised me. Reviewers painted it as just a been there done that FPS game. But once I played it, it really could see that they really thought about how to make the game, and the pacing and flow of the game.

Really sucks about Resistance 2's health. Maybe I can still find fun with it since I enjoyed Resistance: FOM so much.

About Resistance 2's health system, the developers pretty much "Codized" it. On the hardest difficulty, it plays pretty similar to COD series on Veteran difficulty. A lot of patiences are required in the second game. It was okay to me, but I wished it stayed the same roots of R:FoM with it's fast-paced running and gunning gameplay. I mean skilled players can dodge the bullets like crazy, but then again the enemies are damn accurate and if you fight like 7 Hybrids at the same time, they're likely to hurt you and the second one isn't too much like that...They basically made it more realistic with Resistance 2, but I really hope Resistance 3 is back to R:FOM roots. R:FoM should set the standards of how a modern FPS flavor meets classic FPS flavor.

I talk to gibberish...lemme be clear this time a bit.

Okay, it's set in space, it's zero gravity, and you have complete freedom of movement. You can fly everywhere...it has 4 maps and 3 game modes. May seem low but devs are gonna make DLCs in the future...
SonicAnnihilator (1 day ago)
Oh, okay!

Shattered Horizon, at first glance, seems a typical sci-fi shooter...but wait, it is a bit different, it has zero gravity, and it's set in space. You have complete freedom of movement, so you can turn around everywhere, fly in space...has one weapon, and stuff, kind of lacks game mods, and maps. It is quite an awesome idea to be set in space with zero gravity and freedom of movement. They say it is hard at first, because it's hard to get a hold of the maneuvering in space flying...eh. PC exclusive, but I hate it that you need quite a powerful machine, because it runs best on Windows 7 and Vista...damn. And utilizes Dx10.

Check out some vids, but I really think they should have added more modes, but I heard the devs are gonna make DLCs in the future. I didn't try the game myself, I wish I could, but it's awesome...

Worse: it's just multiplayer.

I was kinda thinking about making a secrets/letters/artifacts list since there's nothing online for Necrovision (meaning that going through the game 100% is taking a long while since I'm finding it all myself).

But since making PC vids still pisses me off, I doubt I'll be making Necrovision vids. Though if I find a good capture program that doesn't make videos that are a pain in the ass to edit, I'll consider it. :P FRAPS, for instance is crap for editing without the sound going out of sync. A program that will use standard MPG/AVI format is what I need.

All in all, if it's possible without pulling what's left of my hair out, I'd love to do Necrovision vids. :)

Never heard of Shattered Horizon. What is it?
SonicAnnihilator (1 day ago)
Oh, yeah, did you try out a game called Shattered Horizon, maybe?
