Hello ya ll, I'm Kris. A bass player, musican, writer and artist of sorts...Here, on Youtube, my main aim is to teach people bass. I am currently aiming at beginners, and will slowly raise to intermediate...

At my site, I have a Lesson tree that you can use to learn at your own pace! It's a catergorised list of lessons that I recommend for you, and an order to which to learn them. Right here:

Wow, I made a list, but youtube won't let me add it, because it's too long. So I cut it down....and that was too long. This went on for about twenty minutes. The product and end result of this waste of time is this message, right here. I hope you've enjoyed it...

Welcome to Planet Lamius!
I'm going to have to do is stop answering youtube PM's! I get too many of them. A lot are so badly written, it's hard to understand them. The ones I do understand and reply to (normally a very long reply, with a lot of info), I never get any thanks for. A very small amount of people say thankyou. I think it maybe a bit of a drain on my time (20 pm's a day) and resources right now, that could be going into other things, like making more lessons, and my Bass forum. Sorry guys!

Premium lessons now available on my site! Here you can add to all the riffs/techniques that we have used in my youtube lessons. The videos are of a better quality than the ones here, and longer...

Nothing has changed. Just me, you, a camera and a bass. Little theory, just technique and ideas! LEARNING MADE EASY!

I truly appreciate your videos. Currently I have just completes a 15 song CD. When completed I've found that my skills were not up to par with what I consider good standards. I've been told that I am very talented and good at what I do, but to be honest I do not feel that way at all.

To remedy my feeling in a funk, I've devised a plan to build my skills back. I bought 3 books to work on reading music. I've also bought The Essential Jaco Pastorious, 10 Bach pieces for Cello but arranged for electric bass, and I've decided to learn the Rush anthology to start.

Seeing your video was really like a breath of fresh air. I just saw it and intend to watch it a few more times to understand just what is going on.

Thank you for posting something so valuable. Take Care.
