Hello, I've been considering getting a Congo African Grey Parrot for a few years now. My family goes on vacation for a week about once a year.

My question is: What is the best way to leave your bird for vacation, when you can't take them with you? I do have a friend with a Grey, should I consider leaving it with her, or should I just leave him/her with a relative for the week?

Hi Dave.. my little african grey is sick .. I don't know what she ate!! I have give her an apple yesterday and some sunflower seeds and today she throw-up she didn't eat anything since the morning .. is that normal for birds to throw-up !! did that happen to you before?

I am so glad that you guys started the bird training videos and stuff, I just hate how people buy these magnificant creatures then neglect them or give them away to whoever because they do not understand what they need. You are offering a great service and paying honors to these creatures who deserve respect. I have had only cockatiels since I was 15, I am 42 now and am adopting a rose breasted cockatoo who will be coming home soon. I am looking forward to using the dvds I bought form you and your brother. He is adopted so I do not have any idea what he has been taught, but he will learn from me and he will be loved for as long as I am alive. thanks for the tips.
