ChildFund International exists to help deprived, excluded and vulnerable children have the capacity to become young adults, parents and leaders who bring lasting and positive change in their communities. ChildFund International promotes societies whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of children.
ChildFund International works in 31 countries, assisting approximately 13.5 million children and family members regardless of race, creed or gender. Since its inception in 1938, ChildFund International has provided nearly $3 billion in services to children with most of the funding coming from individual contributors in the form of monthly child sponsorships.
ChildFund International is a member of ChildFund Alliance, a global network of 12 child development organizations.
