About Me:

I'm an apolitical agnostic vegetarian and expatriat American, living in Thailand since 1986.

I'm also a US Army veteran, who lived in wartime Vietnam as both soldier and civilian for 6 years. Hence, my interest in the country and its modern history, resulting in some of the videos I've posted on YouTube.
Country:
Thailand
Hobbies:
Although past my prime, I still enjoy girl-watching. They continue to fascinate and mystify me, but I've learned to stay at a safe distance. Besides human female anatomy, my other intrests include Eastern philosophy, writing and watching/creating historical documentaries.
Movies:
My favorite movie has not yet been made, and perhaps it never will: A Vietnam Love Story. My favorite movie that HAS been made is, perhaps, Doctor Zhivago. I enjoy all movies of the same genre.
Music:
Still love old Led Zep when I'm in that kind of mood. For something more cerebral, I enjoy Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons and Moody Blues. I also like orchestral music when it has a lot of strings. Though it makes me feel sad, I love listening to serene sound of the Vietnamese 'dan bau.'
Books:
Books? Who has time to read books?

Frank, I was stationed in Cholon with "A" co. 716th MP Bat. in '68 and '69. I traveled around the city a lot, both on and off duty. Your videos are fantastic! I love the way you merge old pics with new to show how things have either changed or stayed the same. They are perfectly done. Thanks!!

Hello Frank.
I really like your Deja Vu videos, and the other videos is great too, they're very
interesting, and I love old War stories, specially from Vietnam. I've also been in Vietnam some times, but just not with the same purpose as you.

Best regards Michael from Denmark
