Aha, Deceit! - "Hollow Heart" A BlankTV Premiere!

Artist Biography: Hailing from Peterborough, all of our members have had at least 5 years of live experience and we're constantly striving to put on a good show, with a little humour thrown into the mix more often than not!

I'd say we know our way around a stage but we can sometimes get a bit lost and our vocalist (the lanky one with the microphone) has a tendency to find himself laying on his back after showing a positively graceful display of acrobatics (he trips over his own feet). We've begun to suspect he might not ever find his sea legs.

Our music has both its lighter and heavier sides, influenced by a variety of metal and post-hardcore favourites of ours, it's a sound we've grown to enjoy both playing and writing and as such we are due to record and release our EP/Mini-album as soon as we can.

We're as approachable as a band can be so if you see us at a gig, come tell us what you thought of our show and party with us! Just a word of warning though, Burton (guitarist) might look like he's not enjoying himself but beneath the grumpy outer shell lies a 6 year old with a big ol' cheesy grin on his amused little face.

About The Video: The idea for the location of the video is one that a few of us have had in mind to use for previous bands but never found a song to truly match it, though, when we originally when to scout the location for a suitable place to shoot the music video, James (our guitarist) managed to find one of the very few rusty nails sticking out and firmly embed it into his foot, unfortunately we had to take the leg before the infection spread*.

As "Hollow Heart" is a song of reinventing yourself and making your way past mental barriers/bad experiences, we felt the location (a chapel in an abandoned insane asylum) was a fitting place to shoot it, with the theme of re-habilitation being a strong one for the video. We had a lot of fun scouting the locations (aside from the minor injury) and shooting it was a gruelling 6-7 hours in a damned cold abandoned chapel during snowy weather (notice the visible breath in the video)! Though it was worth every minute for us.
