A reenactment of a true event...This award is for Evan Fortunato, a rookie at the Bedford Pool this year. On Evan's first day guarding, this kid Shaun went off the boards and couldn't swim. Evan was so shocked, he didn't get out of his chair to save the kid, so Stephen Miller a.k.a. "Black Bauer" (the only black guard at the pool) ran all the way from the L-shaped pool to the diving well to save him. Later we heard comments from patrons about how Bedford guards are racist because the black lifeguard had to save the black child.

I was ganna say you guys must have a lot of free time on your hands. What ever passes the time, right. I tryed to do some sort of reality show at the park but we were always to busy. We did manage to make a 300 parity that my brothers cutting now. Its hard to believe
the seasons just about done.

Well, I cant wait to see the 2008 awards.

Big fan of the diff personalities at your pool. According to your experican scale i guess i would rank as a Master. Im a headguard/EMT at a waterpark in Houston and its fun to see how similar your staff is to ours. You found a great way to motivate your friends. I bet you guys have a lot of fun unlike most civic pools.
